File permission problem with File:Dibo.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Dibo.gif. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. –Drilnoth (T/C) 21:04, 18 July 2011 (UTC)

The Smash Brothers
[edit]Hello Chris. Please do not delete the Smash brothers page. The official blogger will update the page this week. I am not the blogger. I'm only 1 of the artist. The Smash brothers are signed to a record deal and have MAJOR distribution via Select-O-Hits Records. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ceegramz (talk • contribs) 14:55, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
Thank you for responding Chris. The Smash Brothers are recording with Grammy award winning artist/producer T Pain in 2 weeks and the single will be distributed by Select-O-Hits Records. Also CeeGramz (myself) is a producer who has produced for artists such as Group Home , and many members of The Wu-Tang Clan among others. I apologize for jumping the gun! Even though I hope you can put a good word in for us so we don't get deleted lol. Thank you again! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ceegramz (talk • contribs) 15:28, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
File:Skullyboard.jpg
[edit]Hi first of all I declined the delete on this file File:Skullyboard.jpg because the format is different and the image is different too. .gif and .jpg are two different formats. However when I checked history I found that you uploaded and also wanted it deleted, and nothing was using it, so I deleted it anyway. Next time you can use db-u7 template. Motto of the Day Help Request April 2014
[edit]Motto of the Day (WP:MOTD) is in a state of emergency and really needs your help! There are not enough editors who are reviewing or nominating mottos at Wikipedia:Motto of the day/Nominations/In review, and this probably means that you will notice a red link or “This space for rent” as our mottos for the next weeks and months.
Please take a moment to review the nominations and nominate your own new mottos at Wikipedia:Motto of the day/Nominations/In review and Wikipedia:Motto of the day/Nominations/'Specials. Any help would be appreciated! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 09:13, 29 April 2014 (UTC)
- This message has been sent by pjoef on behalf of Motto of the Day to all editors of the English Wikipedia who are showing MOTD's templates on their pages, and to all the participants to MOTD: (page, template, and category).
