Speedy deletion nomination of The smash brothers

Hello Ceegramz,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged The smash brothers for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

Hey Ceegramz, I marked this article because generally a subject (in this case a band) needs to provide some reason that it is important enough to have an article, as an article shouldn't be created for every person or band there is. I don't do the deletion though, just recommend. On the upside, once you have any further information to say why this band is important feel free to re-make the article (if it gets deleted) with that information. You might want to take a look at some general standards for what makes a band notable enough to be included in wikipedia, you can find that here if you'd like. Also, generally it's strongly discouraged to create an article about yourself. Subjects that are notable tend to be created by others on wikipedia when it's clear they are important. Chris M. (talk) 15:05, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
