I regret to say that I have closed your RfA early as per WP:SNOW. I have included a summary of the opinions cast in my reason for doing so, which was essentially 'get some more experience before trying again'. You have been very brave in putting yourself in the spotlight here after so short a time of editing WP. Most people wait between six-to-twelve months before trying for an RfA and they are not alway successful either. Strategies for improving your profile for another RfA include:

  1. contributing effectively to articles. This includes finding references and citations for facts in reliable sources, something that is essential for an encyclopedia.
  2. Working on the Good Article Drive, Good Article Collaboration of the week and the Article Creation and Improvement Drive.
  3. Patrolling the New pages and Recent changes special pages for vandalism; tagging the pages according to the criteria for speedy deletion and warning the vandals.
  4. Reporting repeat vandals for admin intervention.
  5. Joining a Wikiproject or finding a portal on a subject in which you are interested and contributing through that.
  6. Assisting at the Help and Reference desks.
  7. Welcoming new users.
  8. Becoming adopted or, when you are more experienced, adopting new users to assist them in learning about Wikipedia.

These are just some of the ideas for making effective contributions to the project. You can also see Wikipedia:Contributing to Wikipedia for more ideas. Regards and good editing, (aeropagitica) 14:57, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

Hi

Ok sorry about this.It was nonsence. Visit the page Space Prophets. It's a music group very popular in Greece. You can also visit Lyriki.com and see the lyrics of a song. Malaka(greek goodbye)—The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Lykos3 (talkcontribs).

Lwarf, I think you should be informed that "malaka" means "wanker" in Greek. I've already warned Lykos3 about this.--Damac 11:26, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

Category:User wiki

I have speedy deleted 4 categories you created, Category:User wiki-1, Category:User wiki-2, Category:User wiki-3, and Category:User wiki-4 as recreation of previously deleted content. Please see this UCFD discussion which resulted in this category and subcategories being merged to Category:User Wikitext. Thanks for understanding! VegaDark (talk) 21:19, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

No problem!

Yeah, userpage vandalism can be quite bad sometimes. I take it as compliment, that means you are effective :). I saw you requested adminship, I just wanted to tell that adminship is not a big deal. I am vandal fighting in Wikipedia for almost a year now, and I only considered requesting it this month. It's just a few tools that you can use in accordance with our policies, but it also means that there is no safety net when you screw up (when you tag a page for deletion, or report a vandal to WP:AIV, there is an admin that makes a judgment call on whether or not the page needs to be deleted or the user blocked. When you do it, you better be sure of what you are doing :)). So take some time, learn our policies, participate in deletion discussions and vandal/spam fighting, and I'm sure that if in a few months you feel the need for the tools, your RfA will go much better! -- lucasbfr talk 09:51, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Just to let you know I was the guy who added the speedy deletion tag on Small Mercies, and I was also the guy who removed it. I changed my mind because of the fact the band had their song as the theme for Prison Break, which is a popular show in Australia and could be enough to satisfy WP:Band (although criteria 10 does say that this is not set in stone).

I also removed your tag by accident, but I've since restored it. Hope this helps Guycalledryan 11:27, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

Four effective AIV reports in thirty minutes? You must be doing something right. Good job fighting those vandals. Keep it up, Chris. —Anas talk? 10:58, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
LOL, no problem. ;-) See you around, Chris. —Anas talk? 11:15, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

My Talk Page

Just a quick thanks for your fast reversion of the vandalism to my talk page. Keep up the good work Guycalledryan 00:49, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

thankyou

please do not delete my work. it is for a project —The preceding unsigned comment was added by ArnieBabe (talkcontribs).

I see that you work for scums like IGE. =) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Abofs (talkcontribs).

Cheers —The preceding unsigned comment was added by ArnieBabe (talkcontribs).

thankyou

it's kinda a physchology one of people's reactions to seeing they're school prtrayed in humorous ways on the internet =) i thought it would be good to show the different social groups and modern talk in it. I'm still working on making it better though. It's my first page on here that i've made —The preceding unsigned comment was added by ArnieBabe (talkcontribs).

Interesting how you can claim the page your project. So you're either making backups of your school project on wiki, or you're attempting to get wiki contributions on your school project and then calling it yours. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Abofs (talkcontribs).

thanks for the help =) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by ArnieBabe (talkcontribs).

my edit to this page was an accident and i undid it. -- —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ziphon (talkcontribs).

I don't get it. I added some real information about conjugal visits, which was that recently laws in California are also allowing same-sex couples conjugal visits, and you considered it vandalism!!! What? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 64.109.252.161 (talkcontribs).

RfA Comments for TomasBat

Hiya - you went Neutral on the above, based on edits, but you looked at the wrong editor ! You might want to check my comment under yours at the RfA. Cheers !Pedro |  Chat  10:32, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

My revert of your revert

I was attempting to revert the same vandalism as you but your revert went through first. When I saw what happened I immediately reverted back to your version. I was going to message you about it but I thought you would see what happened. Occasionally I've seen this happen before. Most of the time the second reversion doesn't go through but it this case it did. Cheers. - Dan D. Ric 19:21, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

My Recent Editt

Hahah, wow. I just realized that IP adresses have talk pages.... oops. I cant belive I never knew that. Thanks lol. Pbroks13 02:50, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

85.139.172.73

Thanks for reverting the Lord Edward Davenport page. As you could see in the history, the IP 85.139.172.73 has blanked the page numerous times. I have reported him to WP:AIVJru Gordon 10:01, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

he's been blocked for 31 hours. On a side note, what's with the text someone put at the bottom of the WP:AIV page? I changed the formatting so it's readable. Jru Gordon 10:06, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

AIV

I said this on AIV but I figure you might not see it before the user is blocked. If a contributor contributed to a page that was later deleted, it won't appear in their contribs list. All of the pages that user had created were quickly deleted, so they didn't show up in the contribs. --WoohookittyWoohoo! 10:12, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

The edit you reverted on my talk page

Did you see the content? It really freaked me out. What is the protocol for dealing with these vicious personal attacks and threats? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks fellow twinkle user! Eliz81 09:58, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the reassurance! Nice to know I did the right thing. I am comforted :) Eliz81 10:15, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
