Blocked
[edit]IP address: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:124.187.80.144 Blocking admin: Alex Bakharev Block reason: Vandalism-only account Block originally applied to: ChrisFashion Your account name (if you have one): An explanation of why your block is unfair: I admit i have vandalised, way back, but the only edits i have made today have been relevant to articles.
- ChrisFashion, if you want to have your editing rights reinstated (if that's even possible following an indefinite user block), I suggest you read through the Wikipedia policies that I sent in your Welcome-message and make sure that you understand them. If you can demonstrate that you plan to abide by those rules/policies I'm sure a reasonable adminstrator will understand. Let me know if you're serious about stopping to vandalise by leaving comments here in proper Wikipedia style (i.e. correct spelling, grammar and signing your post). Cheers! -Niël 10:11, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
I Am Serious, and after you sent me the thing about new page, i spent my whole BCT lesson reading them. I found out I was blocked for stuff on my own User page =SChrisFashion 11:30, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
- My suggestion is that you request on the blocking admin's talkpage that he change the block from indefinitely to something like two weeks. When writing be polite, abide by Wikipedia policy and explain that it is your intention to contribute in a positive way to the encyclopedia from now on and that you recently read and understood the Wikipedia policies. Ask what you need to do to get your editing rights re-instated. Good luck! -Niël 13:52, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
- comment - This user is currently blocked and therefore will be unable to edit on other user talk pages. If he wishes to do so for legitimate reason it can be done on this page, Alex will be monitoring the page, however indefinite blocks are serious and it is doubtful it would be reverted. I will abide by Wikipedia's policy's, I just want to know WHY I was blocked for vandalism when the only pages I edited that day were Townsville pages. Living there i obviously know about it.That day i even edited Tennesee Williams page as someone had vandlised it. They got rid of his life and replaced it with Symbols and Hi. It's Quite Confusing ChrisFashion 01:23, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
- Just chiming in here. You say that you were blocked for vandalism when you Rightfully Edited A Page, but edits like this and then this and this just about 12 hours before your block are probably why you were blocked. An indefinite block is one that won't expire on its own, not one that can't ever be lifted. If you've got a good reason, you can request to be unblocked by adding {{unblock|your good reason here}} to this page, and someone will come along to review it. By the way, what do you mean by that your IP is unblocked on November 1? WODUP 02:51, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
WAIT, I Didn't edit Thuringowa though...Crumz.Ok I Know What Happened. Also I Mean The Block On My Ip Address Finishes On The 1st. So I Think It Would Be Easier To Start a new account instead of trying to get this one unblocked. Thanks Wodup for your input tho :)ChrisFashion 03:31, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit]You removed stuff i put on the talk page of TSHS Why? You say it's not verifiable WHEN there have been articles in the Bulletin about it. So stick that in your pipe and smoke it Dick ^___^ChrisFashion 03:51, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Christopher Lane, you will be blocked from editing. -Niël 01:19, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Stockland Townsville, you will be blocked from editing. -Niël 01:25, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
Your edits to Stockland Townsville
[edit]Hi ChrisFashion, regarding your comments left on my userpage (edits to other user pages are usually regarded as vandalism): you blanked the page Christopher Lane and afterward added an uncited fact. If it were actually true, you should have created a new page for another Christopher Lane as I doubt the one you were referring to and the one in the original article is the same person. If you would like to discuss this further, leave your comments here, on go to my talkpage. Cheers! Niël 01:37, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not sure what you mean - I already reverted your edits back to the version by Thuringowacityrep, or did you want me to change it back so your edits are visibile again? Niël 02:07, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
- Done! Just note that reference to a userpage is discouraged, unless it adds significantly to the article. Cheers! -Niël 02:17, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
New page
[edit]OK, it's all explained in the welcome section of Wikipedia, but here goes. You'll have to create a disambiguation page such as John Howard (disambiguation) as apparently there are more than one Christopher Lane. Then do a search for "Christopher Lane (Australia)" or whatever would be suited for this person in parenthesis. If it turns out that there aren't a page that goes by that name, click on the red link with the words "Christopher Lane (Australia)" and start typing your article as you normally would. Remember that you have to cite your sources and very short, non-significant articles may be tagged for speedy deletion. Let me know if I can be of further assistance. Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 05:33, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
Other users' pages
[edit]Please don't remove content from other users' pages without a good reason, as you did here. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Stifle (talk) 12:01, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
