- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!
This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of A.k.a Cassandra (album), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://getitfromboy.blogspot.com/2008/07/kc-concepcion-album-tops-philippine.html.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) MadmanBot (talk) 18:44, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of A.k.a Cassandra (album)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on A.k.a Cassandra (album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. - MrX 19:08, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did to KC (album), without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Please leave this article as a redirect unless you are able to provide reliable sources establishing the notability of this album. - MrX 20:57, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
Sorry for how badly things are going
[edit]I can see you've had a rough start on Wikipedia. In general, it's pretty difficult for your first few articles to actually stick. I had to delete a couple as copyright violations: a songwriter owns the lyrics to any songs that he writes, and we can't simply include the full copy of the lyrics in any Wikipedia articles.
There were also problems with charts and citations. Right now, there are no charts from the Philippines that are considered acceptable for use on Wikipedia. They all violate our rules against charts being from single vendors or networks.
It's also important to be able to point at the source of any information that you add. Please remember to include citations for facts that you include in articles so that others can verify the information you have added.—Kww(talk) 00:06, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
Chochacuadra, you are invited to the Teahouse
[edit]Hi Chochacuadra! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |
Your edits to A.k.a Cassandra (album)
[edit]Please note that an Wikipedia article needs to have text, not just an infobox. It needs sources. It needs evidence of "Notability". Until you can provide these, the title should be a redirect to the artist. Please stop reverting this. Thanks. PamD 09:51, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
- And as there is no other article called "A.k.a. Cassandra", the article title doesn't need "(album)" - I've moved it to the correct title. PamD 09:52, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
- But on the other hand, if you create an article like KC (album), which needs a "disambiguator" in brackets like "(album)", then you need to add it to the "disambiguation page" at KC so that people can find it. I've added it now, but another time please remember to do so. Thanks. PamD 09:56, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
Articles need a lead section
[edit]I see you've done a lot of work on KC (album), but it doesn't start with a "lead" section. At the very least you must start the article with something like "KC is a 2010 album by KC Concepcion." That's what shows up in Wikipedia or Google searches, it's what helps someone to see whether this is the article they are looking for. Please comply with Wikipedia's standards, and start every article with an introductory sentence. Thanks. PamD 10:00, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
