Stephen Maitland-Lewis Edit
In regards to your comment re my Stephen Maitland-Lewis submission“ … the majority of other sources do not meet the criteria of WP:RS for a WP:BLP, for example highlighthollywood.com, the website of the Vieux Carré Property Owners Association, etc.” The examples you refer to are not listed as sources/references in the article I submitted. I believe you are reading a list of the sources from a much earlier version which was not submitted by me – Here are the sources/references from my recent submission:

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Academic genealogy of Herman Ames.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:Academic genealogy of Herman Ames.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Pkbwcgs (talk) 18:03, 9 May 2018 (UTC)

Hi. Confused of why this was refused. Jamie is one of the top mixers in Nashville , who also owns one of the more recorded and worked at studios in Nashville, and has some very notable accolades and RIAA awards, including a Grammy. I'm not sure what else we can do here besides getting letters from the RIAA, record companies, Pictures of all the gold and platinum records, and a letter from the Grammys ( which is all possible ). He's a mixer and an engineer which is all behind the scenes and not as documented publicly as say my wiki ( I was a public figure ), thus having very little available online references to draw from. He has worked with some of Nashville biggest and played a significant role on some huge albums over the last 20 years. Please let us know how we can further substantiate these achievements.
- Hi User:73.58.164.153. "Please let us know how we can further substantiate these achievements." - You'll need to provide reliable sources to demonstrate his notability which typically means articles in newspapers, magazines, scholarly journals, or major news websites; books published by established publishing houses; or government/university websites. Photographs, letters, and physical mementos such as trophies, memorabilia, gold records, or other collectibles won't work, I'm afraid. Good luck. Chetsford (talk) 23:08, 9 May 2018 (UTC)

- Hi Booklover213 - here is a list of your all-time edits to Wikipedia: [2]. Here is the one edit you've made outside my Talk page, to Draft:Stephen Maitland-Lewis: [3]. Since what you've copied above doesn't appear in any edit ever associated with your account, I'm inclined to believe you may have a different account you attempted to introduce these sources from and may have the two accounts confused. Unfortunately, however, there's nothing more I can do for you at this point and you may want to check in at the WP:TEAHOUSE for more holistic advice. Best of luck. United Nations Command-Rear
Hi. There are comments on Talk:United Nations Command-Rear/GA1. Gog the Mild (talk) 23:40, 10 May 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for the response and for the comprehensive edits. An easy decision. Good work. (Looked like a tough topic.) Gog the Mild (talk) 21:36, 12 May 2018 (UTC)
- Gog the Mild - thanks again for taking the time to review it. Chetsford (talk) 21:56, 12 May 2018 (UTC)
- No problem at all. It was an interesting article. Of course, if you feel like reciprocating by reviewing one of mine... Gog the Mild (talk) 22:01, 12 May 2018 (UTC)
- Gog the Mild - of course, I'd be happy to! I'll do it this next week if that's okay? Chetsford (talk) 22:03, 12 May 2018 (UTC)
- That would be great. Thank you. I have 4 waiting at the moment, with a 5th to be added as soon as a merge proposal times out. Gog the Mild (talk) 22:09, 12 May 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for the very prompt assessment of Zoe. Being relatively new at this I struggle a bit to self-assess. I would appreciate it if you could give an opinion as to whether this article has reached its limit. I assume that, with the History Project not really being functional, the next step would FA. You seem to have a positive view of the article. Do you think that there is the potential for FA, or has it reached its natural limit? Gog the Mild (talk) 21:00, 14 May 2018 (UTC)
- That's a very good question, but I may not be the right person to ask as I have yet to get a FA article myself! If it were me, I would !vote for it for FA status pending a couple minor revisions: alt-tags on the images, and archiving of the roman-emperors.org source. It seems to be a little on the short side in terms of character count relative to other FA articles, however, it's not unreasonably short and I do see other FA articles passing that are of similar length. I think you should go ahead and nominate it anyway - the worst that would happen is it's not passed to FA. By the way - the GA icon hasn't triggered yet in the article. I'll give it a bit longer and then manually add it. Chetsford (talk) 21:22, 14 May 2018 (UTC)
- Gog, your comment has inspired me to nominate Helicopter 66 to FA as it's on the shorter side of articles, too. We'll see how it goes! Chetsford (talk) 23:16, 14 May 2018 (UTC)
- Ha, half the size of Zoe. I may review it myself. Thanks for the advice. Gog the Mild (talk) 23:29, 14 May 2018 (UTC)

The Fantasy Footballers - Submission declined on 15 May 2018
Hello,
I saw that you rejected the article The Fantasy Footballers for lack of significant coverage. Could you please suggest some sources that podcasts/podcast companies can leverage?
Also, since fantasy football is seasonal, would you recommend waiting until the fall to re-submit?
Thank you, Crameraj (talk) 15:36, 21 May 2018 (UTC)
- Hi Crameraj - all Wikipedia articles must be sourced to multiple WP:RS which generally means daily newspapers, major magazines, or large news websites (e.g. Politico, ESPN, BBC, etc.); scholarly, peer reviewed journals; books published by mainstream publishing houses; or the websites of universities or government agencies. This can be a difficult hurdle for podcasts to manage. Your reference from the Phoenix New Times is great, but appears to be the only WP:RS reference. Chetsford (talk) 20:14, 21 May 2018 (UTC)
May 2018
Hello. Your recent edit to 2026 appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. In year articles, anniversaries are only listed if there are present plans of international significance. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 19:34, 21 May 2018 (UTC)
- Arthur Rubin - as per your note "In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists." - the item added to the list did/does have a pre-existing article. See United States Semiquincentennial and the original edit here: [4]. I've readded it in the assumption you might not have seen the WL, however, if I have misunderstood your note I trust your good judgment so please feel free to remove it again at your discretion. NPR Newsletter No.11 25 May 2018
ACTRIAL:
- WP:ACREQ has been implemented. The flow at the feed has dropped back to the levels during the trial. However, the backlog is on the rise again so please consider reviewing a few extra articles each day; a backlog approaching 5,000 is still far too high. An effort is also needed to ensure that older unsuitable older pages at the back of the queue do not get automatically indexed for Google.
Deletion tags
- Do bear in mind that articles in the feed showing the trash can icon may have been tagged by inexperienced or non NPR rights holders. They require your further verification.
Backlog drive:
- A backlog drive will take place from 10 through 20 June. Check out our talk page at WT:NPR for more details. NOTE: It is extremely important that we focus on quality reviewing. Despite our goal of reducing the backlog as much as possible, please do not rush while reviewing.
Editathons
- There will be a large increase in the number of editathons in June. Please be gentle with new pages that obviously come from good faith participants, especially articles from developing economies and ones about female subjects. Consider using the 'move to draft' tool rather than bluntly tagging articles that may have potential but which cannot yet reside in mainspace.
Paid editing - new policy
- Now that ACTRIAL is ACREQ, please be sure to look for tell-tale signs of undisclosed paid editing. Contact the creator if appropriate, and submit the issue to WP:COIN if necessary. There is a new global WMF policy that requires paid editors to connect to their adverts.
Subject-specific notability guidelines
- The box at the right contains each of the subject-specific notability guidelines, please review any that are relevant BEFORE nominating an article for deletion.
- Reviewers are requested to familiarise themselves with the new version of the notability guidelines for organisations and companies.
Not English
- A common issue: Pages not in English or poor, unattributed machine translations should not reside in main space even if they are stubs. Please ensure you are familiar with WP:NPPNE. Check in Google for the language and content, tag as required, then move to draft if they do have potential.
News
- Development is underway by the WMF on upgrades to the New Pages Feed, in particular ORES features that will help to identify COPYVIOs, and more granular options for selecting articles to review.
- The next issue of The Signpost has been published. The newspaper is one of the best ways to stay up to date with news and new developments. between our newsletters.
