Protected edits?
[edit]Hiyas Charon9. I saw your edit on requests for page protection. Were you intending to ask for page protection on that article? The section you placed your request in is for asking an admin to do an edit to a protected page, but not to change the protection status of the article. --Syrthiss 15:44, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
- can you direct me to the correct page then ? Sorry I'm a newb at having to ask this one
- Thx Charon9 15:48, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
- Not a prob. I saw you expanded the description on that page, I'll just move it to the right section and format it. It was the correct page, just a weird section. ;)
- I do have to say, that in my opinion as an admin... Protection will be likely denied unless the anon is very persistent. They've only vandalized that article once, and you were right on top of it reverting it. However, I'll still put it up on the page for you because its possible another admin will agree. --Syrthiss 15:59, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
Yeah I missclicked save instead of preview for my link /sigh -- Is a habit to start the paper trail early on those things - the ADL (and related types) hound us all the time.
- Thanks for the prompt response Charon9
Proposed Deletions
[edit]I have proposed the three "Treaty of Old Crossing" articles for deletion; as they are, they are merely texts, which are (according to a comment on one of the talk pages) already on Wikisource. I think there should definitely be an article that covers these treaties, I just don't think having the full text in Wikipedia is desirable or encyclopedaic. You are, of course, free to remove my "prod" tags and discuss the matter on the articles' talk pages. --Brianyoumans 10:40, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
- I wish I knew more about wiki-edits, to do a redirect to the wikisource articles / no problem with me on the removals but would like a redirect on them as a few pages resource them.Charon9 18:02, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Littleshell3.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Littleshell3.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 10:22, 1 May 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:22, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
