[edit]Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that in this edit to LGBT rights in the United States, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 07:34, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, @Materialscientist Thanks for your note but I explained my edits at the Talk page at 'claims in lead'. I made two edits but only made a note at the edit summary with the first one. I've reverted your edit and this time put in a note in the edit summary directing the reader to the talk page. I hope that's right and thanks for helping. I'm new and still learning! :-) Charlie Campbell 28 (talk) 07:48, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that in this edit to LGBT rights in the European Union, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 09:04, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks, again, @Materialscientist Like last time, I have discussed at the Talk page. I was going to make another edit and make a reference to both edits flagging the talk page. I guess I should refer to the talk page with every edit. In the meantime, since I have gone through the right procedure at the Talk page, I have reverted your revert. I hope that is OK. Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to LGBT rights in the European Union, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you would like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. - See my comment above and my discussion at the edit page prior to the edit. Thanks. I think the trouble here is that your warning comes out in seconds, before I've finished editing. I am sure I'm not quite getting it entirely right, though, as I am quite new to this. Charlie Campbell 28 (talk) 09:12, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
Here you said, your claim of POV seems particularly out of order since it implies bad faith on my part.
That is not correct; introduction of POV issues can be completely unintentional and is not an accusation of bad faith. Regardless: focus on content not contributors in article talk space, please. VQuakr (talk) 20:53, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks, @VQuakr See my comments at the Talk page. Charlie Campbell 28 (talk) 07:04, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
