Notability of Gina Marie May
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Gina Marie May, by DearPrudence, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Gina Marie May seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Gina Marie May, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Gina Marie May itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 04:20, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Naomi Collins
[edit]A tag has been placed on Naomi Collins requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — HelloAnnyong [ t · c ] 19:11, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Abigail Collins, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://darkshadows.wikia.com/wiki/Abigail_Collins. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 20:04, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Abigail Collins, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Peasantwarrior (talk) 20:07, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
Dark Shadows characters
[edit]Before creating any more articles about characters from Dark Shadows, please take a moment to thoroughly read Wikipedia:Notability (fiction). These articles will continue to get deleted unless they show evidence of real-world notability for the characters. Thanks! --Fabrictramp (talk) 20:24, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
- Also, do not remove the maintenance tags from articles unless you are sure the requested work has been done. --Fabrictramp (talk) 20:25, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Merlin (film), is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. Collectonian (talk) 18:43, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Vasquez family massacre
[edit]I have nominated Vasquez family massacre, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Vasquez family massacre. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. - Hey there, although I agree this article should be deleted, I wanted you to know that your work is appreciated, and I've incorporated much of the text into Pilar Lopez-Fitzgerald#Pilar's secret, where I think it is appropriate. I've also redirected Juanita Vasquez to this section, which gives pertinent info about her though she doesn't need her own article. Thanks for your hard work. — TAnthonyTalk 20:33, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
Minor Passions characters
[edit]I think you should refrain from adding new sections to that article that have no content. I have tried to put in at least a stubby sentence on most of your additions but some of them I don't even know a thing about. Without any added information, I'm sure they will be deleted in the next day or two by either me or another editor. -- Dougie WII (talk) 01:02, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
