Peer Review
[edit]Hi Cgpitt!
This is Megan, logged in as Mswintosky for the Peer Review on your article of choice, Bog Bodies.
I checked out your sandbox and it looks like you are off to a pretty good start! Your references seem legit and like a good starting point for adding to the already existing article. I saw that you already added a cited portion to the lead section, which was a great addition and is a good clarifying point to the mention of the acidic conditions of the bogs that was already there. I also saw that you left me a message explaining that you would add more info towards the end of the week, so keep up the good work!
As for things to improve on or new directions I would suggest trying, you may want to look into citing the photographs already posted in the article. This is a super easy way to add some references and perhaps stumble upon new content to add to the article. Additionally, if there is no mention of the published photos in the article itself, that could be a good thing to add. I also noticed when reading the article that there are many geographical areas mentioned that these bog bodies have been discovered, but there is only one section specifically dedicated to North America. It may be a good idea to reorganize the pre-existing information into geographically-separate sections. This reorganization may make it easier to see which sites are lacking in content compared to the others. You mentioned in your sandbox draft that you want to look into adding references to the notable bog bodies section, which I think is a good idea as well. I saw that there is already an entire wiki page linked there, so it'll be easy to pull references from that article.
Keep up the good work! Mswintosky (talk) 18:43, 18 October 2020 (UTC)Megan
