Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page Allied invasion of Sicily has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing for further information. Thank you. Alansohn (talk) 17:18, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Eastern Express (Newspaper), and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Eastern Express. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 20:23, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
This maps is not entirely accurate. The line from Thessaloniki to Dedeagatch (Alexandroupolis), Pythion and Constantinople belonged to Jonction Salonique-Constantinople or JSC. SV1XV (talk) 07:02, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
Creation of redirect page
Hi! I realize that when you want to rename a page, you delete its content, add a redirect link and create a page with the new title. By this way, the history information remains at the redirect page. However, the easiest way to accomplish this task is to move the page by using the "move" tag at the top right of that page by inserting the new page title in the appropriate field. This method allows the history information is moved to the new page and creates a redirect link at the old page at the same time. Try it next time. Cheers. CeeGee (talk) 14:14, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
TCDD
Hi Central Data Bank. Can you please let me know your reasoning for converting the disambiguation page at TCDD into a redirect? Clearly there are main two subjects that each use that abbreviation. Looking at Google results, it seems clear that neither is used significantly more often than the other, and maybe even the chemical is more prevalent than the railway. Having it as a redirect doesn't help because there are no incoming links to direct anyway. Under these circumstances consensus is that a disambiguation page is more appropriate. -- Ed (Edgar181) 20:46, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
Aliağa
Hi! I notice that you have reverted the article name "Aliağa railway station" back to "Aliağa (IZBAN)". Maybe the correct name should be "Aliağa Terminal" or better "Aliağa Railway Terminal", in order not to be confused with "Petkim Aliağa Terminal". However, I can hardly understand why it should have the suffix (IZBAN). Is there any other railway station in Aliağa, which is serving apart from IZBAN? Cheers. You don't seem to like the style I created. You removed the paramater from the Infobox without an edit summary. Why is that? The only difference from the default is that the header replicates that of the station signs; white text on a blue background. Could you tell me what is wrong with this? Sw2nd (talk) 15:47, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
No no, I love what you did but with that style the name of the stations do not appear that's why I changed it, but I really do appreciate what you did with the boxes. (Central Data Bank (talk))
- Don't you see the name here? Sw2nd (talk) 18:04, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
- No I don't... (Central Data Bank (talk))
- That is unusual. What do you see? Can you see the Infobox header on another example at Marconiplein (Rotterdam Metro). Sw2nd (talk) 22:34, 7 September 2011 (UTC)
I tried to lighten the photo that the IP removed, but was not successful. You may have better luck with Picasa or some other program. If it can't be lightened I tend to agree that it should remain. I've actually had some problems with this same IP, and the user account that he has acknowledged, "Legendary Ranger"), of a similar character, regarding generally tendentious editing. ScottyBerg (talk) 19:34, 7 September 2011 (UTC)
- I put took that picture to make it blend in with the light behind the Manhattan skyline on purpose. I put it up as a different type of photo in the gallery. I don't know why he has to remove it so suddenly. But anyway thanks again. (Central Data Bank (talk))
Keep it up
Dear Centraldatabank,
Glad to type to you. Please maintain your great effort for BJK current season. I'd like to improve the BJK related articles, especially, the history section of the main article, systematically. If you are interested in, please let me know. I'm open for any opinion. Btw, I'm from Izmir! Best regards, Umi1903 (talk) 19:12, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
You've added that East Germany was a satellite state that I earlier added but it was removed.
There is a debate on whether East Germany was or was not a satellite state on the East Germany article's talk page. We need to discuss this as it is under dispute. I agree that it was a satellite state and such claims are widely backed up by scholarly sources. Please discuss the changes you wish to be made to the article in the talk section of the East Germany article.--R-41 (talk) 20:02, 8 January 2012 (UTC)

Karesi Ekspresi
88.251.65.241 (talk) 21:53, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
- Bunun AKP ile ne alakasi var kardesim? Benim siyasi goruslerim onemli degil burda. Ustelik tren bile gozukmuyor o fotoda. Daha duzgun bir tane bul ozaman degistirmem. Ve senin Izmire ne dusmanligin var ki? CHP'ye mi karsisin? (Central Data Bank (talk))

Your request for adminship
Hi Central Data Bank,
Thank you for requesting to become an administrator on Wikipedia. Based on your current edit count and edit history, it is extremely unlikely that your request will be successful. You've also not quite filled in the RfA template correctly. While you have every right to carry on with the RfA, I'd strongly recommend withdrawing and reapplying when you have more edits.
If you've got any questions about adminship, the RfA process or anything else, feel free to ask me or other active admins. Thanks again, and good luck. —Tom Morris (talk) 14:57, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
- Hi. I see you have withdrawn your RfA by reverting its transclusion, so I have closed it for you at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Central Data Bank. Your work here is clearly appreciated, and I hope you won't be discouraged by this first experience of RfA. If you follow the advice given, I see no reason why you should not have a successful run some time in the future. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 17:35, 8 April 2012 (UTC)

TCDD collage in the infobox
I think making a collage for the 4 main services of the TCDD was a good idea, but the images are kinda ugly (can you take better photos when possible, please?) 88.251.65.167 (talk) 01:02, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
- DO you have any self-respect? Ugly? Really? Well, no offense, but the photo of the high-speed train was much better than the one that you changed. I don't want another edit-war to start, it's ridiculous and what the hell do you have against the 22series? They are the pride of TCDD. And by the way for the new collage, you used my images again so who are you disrespecting here? If they're so ugly go take some better ones yourself.
- The "front bumper" of the Mainline train in your first collage looks dirty and worn-out (the train looks külüstür). The "background scenery" in the High-speed train image looks like a desert (resembles the desert areas of Jordan and Palestine.) While there are "cleaner" images available in Wikimedia Commons, it's better to use them (which was exactly what I did.) Resim seçimi konusunda maksimum seviyede "titiz" davranılması taraftarıyım, özellikle de pek çok insan Türkiye'yi "develerin dolaştığı bir Arap (çöl) ülkesi" sanıyorken. Turkish War of Independence
Hi. I have seen you are quite involved in the said article and have reverted some edition by me. I would like to ask you, "Does it look normal to you to write TBMM against Greece as warring sides?" If you are not intending to write a special article on TBMM Hükümeti it looks quite weird. It should be Turkey against Greece. On the other hand, why is the reference upto 1923 to the Kuvay-i Milliye period? Firstly, what about the regular army? Secondly, the warfare finished after the recovery of Izmir on 9 September 1922. (Should I remind you when the Ottoman State ceased to exist?) Thirdly, what is the war/combat that has been fought in Thrace? Other than local uprisings against the central government and the occupying powers and their local collaborators, the war was practically only against the invading Greek army. Am I wrong? Please begin editing by replacing the word TBMM with Turkey. If not, write an article about the TBMM Government; but still it would not be a "country" to name it as one of the warring parties while the other is a country. All the best. --E4024 (talk) 16:52, 25 August 2012 (UTC)

== TBMM + other issues ==
Hello, as a response to your earlier address, the Republic of Turkey wasn't formed until 1923, (29 October to be exact). Therefore the governmental body commanding nationalist forces in the war was the Turkish Grand National Assembly (Turkiye Buyuk Millet Meclisi). There was no such country as the Republic of Turkey until 1923, therefore it wouldn't be wise to place a country that doesn't exist in the belligerents. The Kuva-yi Milliye was a guerrilla organization that attacked invading forces throughout the war. The Kuva-yi Milliye operated on it's own from 1919-20 and under the command of TBMM from 1920-23. (Remember the war wasn't over until the treaty was signed in 1923). The regular army did the heavy lifting while Kuva-yi Milliye supported them by destroying supply lines or harassing the enemy etc... As for Thrace I don't know what you're talking about for I didn't edit something like that. If I did, please show me. Regards (Central Data Bank (talk))
- CDB, I did not say Rep of Turkey, I said (and indeed edited) Turkey. This looks absurd to me, BTW, look how many articles will you find refering "Turkey" in the same period. It is not a question of States but Governments. (Ankara Hük.) This is why I said "then write the TBMM Hükümeti article". (You see TBMM and TBMM Hükümeti are not the same thing, just like Rep of T and T. T has a use of one millennium.) Trakya referansi ise genel bir referansti: As you are editing the article and do not touch there that means you accept it, or not? - I was almost losing my hopes but now I see that you discovered the Turkish Provisional Government, article that you yourself initiated. So I hope just like in "Occupation of Izmir" in other articles about the same period of history you are going to replace TBMM with this (vekil) Government that came from inside the TBMM. (It really looks awkward to show our parliament as a "warring, belligerent party".) All the best. --E4024 (talk) 19:59, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

Just happened to see it today because of someone's comment on its talkpage got my attention on it; it doesn't show the Dease Lake Extension of the old BCR line, which currently is running, I think, or usable anyway, as far as Mosque, British Columbia even though the rail grade was long ago completed as far as Dease Lake. From there current talk is that it will be extended via Atlin or Teslin and Whitehorse/Dawson to Fairbanks, not sure if the plans are in place enough to show that stretch as a dotted line; but from Fort St. James I think or somewhere around there, the Dease Lake Extension is now part of CN. Name change request!
Hi,
I see, that you have changed the name of the article Izmir Offensive to Great Smyrna Offensive. Unfortunately the new name is also not correct. As mentioned on the talk page, the name of the article should be 'Turkish Great Offensive 1922', because it has the most results on google related to this engagement. Have a nice day! 201.161.198.214 (talk) 16:04, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
- You do have a point, however the term "Great Offensive" (Buyuk Taaruz) is not only related to the Turkish one. The Great Smyrna Offensive would be the best translation of Buyuk Taaruz into English. Thanks for your concern. Cheers! (Central Data Bank (talk))

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Barsan Global Logistics, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. SmartSE (talk) 20:56, 21 February 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Stockerau, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Reichenau (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
