Flags
[edit]Hello. I see you're adding some useful informationt infoboxes, but please read MOS:INFOBOXFLAG. It is generally preferred under the Manual of Style to avoid flag icons in infoboxes. It isn't particularly helpful—people know the names of countries much better than they know their flags, and it's redundant, like writing "3 (three)" and "14 (fourteen)". I've reverted the edits where you added a flag where the country was already named, and I've removed the flag you added in a few places along with the country, but there are too many of the latter cases for me to take care of right now. Largoplazo (talk) 02:01, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
- @Largoplazo my bad, i really should've checked the mos before going on an edit spree like that. i just really like flags. i'll fix all of mine, but should i remove the flags that were already there while i'm at it or leave them? Cecilkilledthedinosaurs (talk) 02:10, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for understanding! If you'd like to remove the ones that are there, that's fine too, but if it's a hassle you don't need to feel obliged. (I like flags too, so I understand.) Largoplazo (talk) 02:15, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
