[edit]Hello,
I reverted your recent edit on Khaatumo since there was no reliable source that supported what you put in. The article that you cited [1] is based on this tweet [2] which is unverified. Upon further research I found no other reliable source to back this, hence my removal.
I hope this clarifies things.
Many thanks, Dabaqabad (talk) 21:53, 16 November 2021 (UTC)

Hi, I have revereted your edits on the Khatumo page as previously detailed. Please see the talk page on this article. Many thanks Jacob300 (talk) 22:51, 26 November 2021 (UTC)
Its not based on a tweet it’s based on a press release from khatumo State there is also video evidence of the khatumo leadership exiting the Somaliland agreement on YouTube on October 26th 2021 and was covered by a number of Somali news channels. I think you should respect the will of Khatumo and that the Khatumo and Somaliland agreement has been cancelled. Hiiraan is described by Wikipedia “ Hiiraan Online is the oldest news and most popular website dedicated to news and information about Somalia and the Horn of Africa. It is published in English and Somali as a primary source for Somali news and affairs.” Cayn Historian (talk) 03:06, 28 November 2021 (UTC)
Hello @Cayn Historian:,
Per Wikipedia rules you need to cite reliable sources to back up your content, which you so far have not. Instead you have essentially been going back and forth with several editors. As for "I think you should respect the will of Khatumo"; Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a blog. Personal opinions here are irrelevant and cannot be used as basis for any edits.
I reverted your recent edit since not only have you removed sourced content that I added, but you also once again cited unreliable sources that are being discussed at the talk page. Dabaqabad (talk) 20:11, 29 November 2021 (UTC)
Hiiraan is used in academic articles and is Of the oldest and most reliable Somali news outlets but you and your group of editors are blatantly ignoring that. Cayn Historian (talk) 22:51, 29 November 2021 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Khatumo State, you may be blocked from editing.
You are now in violation of the WP:3RR policy. Please discuss your proposed changes on the respective article talk page, and achieve consensus prior to making any further changes to this article, or any other article covered by the discretionary sanctions alert you received today. Discretionary sanctions alert
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in the Horn of Africa (defined as including Ethiopia, Somalia, Eritrea, Djibouti, and adjoining areas if involved in related disputes). Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

As an administrator can you please change the picture which appears on Google when you search khatumo on Google back to the the flag of khatumo state, the picture thumbnail linked to the Wikipedia. It was previously the flag of khatumo state and has now been changed for malicious reasons. Thanks Cayn Historian (talk) 20:40, 9 March 2022 (UTC)

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Khatumo State. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 03:00, 5 December 2021 (UTC)
I keep making the correct updates with evidence to the page but all of those keep ignoring it and editing it back. The only reason they would be so persistent is back of their bias and one sidedness and opposition to khatumo. This is why they won’t let the update take place. You can look through the evidence I’ve sent. You can also see these group of editors are biased because they changed the picture of the flag of khatumo state to another picture which has another flag. Here is evidence for Khatumo exiting the Somaliland agreement from the Hiiraan online website a very reliable Somali news website https://www.hiiraan.com/news/2021/Nov/wararka_maanta5-179273.htm?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Cayn Historian (talk) 13:15, 5 December 2021 (UTC)

This group of editors have shown their bias by referring to Hiiran online as a tabloid but its “ Hiiraan Online is the oldest news and most popular website dedicated to news and information about Somalia and the Horn of Africa” I presented them this with evidence but they’ve disregarded it completely. Cayn Historian (talk) 13:23, 5 December 2021 (UTC)
Hiiraan Online “ It is published in English and Somali as a primary source for Somali news and affairs. It has been described by many as being the most viewed Somali-owned website in the world.” Cayn Historian (talk) 13:24, 5 December 2021 (UTC)
As an administrator can you reinstate my update and also change the picture linked to this Wikipedia article back to its original one and can you also add page protection from this group of editors. Cayn Historian (talk) 13:26, 5 December 2021 (UTC)
