LogiCity

I'm a little disappointed that you deleted this page by so strictly interpreting the 4 hour limit. The first version of the page was indeed unbalanced, but I had worked hard to correct that, and was actually editing the Talk:Logicity page to explain how we had addressed the issues identified, only to return to the page and find it gone!

LogiCity is an online (or distributed) serious game, that falls within the sub-category of Global warming games. Like the Climate Challenge Game, also listed on the Global warming game page (and which also has its own Wikipedia page), LogiCity has been publicly funded by the UK's Defra, through its Climate Challenge Programme. The game is not a commercial venture; it is freely available to anyone to play. As such, I believe it has as much justification to a Wikipedia page as the other games linked from the Global warming game page, which apart from Climate Challenge, include V GAS, Stabilization Wedge and Keep Cool. --Petrolmaps (talk) 18:15, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

John Gore (Theater Producer)

I am baffled as to why you deleted the page on John Gore. He is about to become the largest producer of Broadway musicals in the industry and his biography is of great interest to professionals in the theater. While true the page started with his published, public domain, biography, it was substantially expanded with additional materials and numerous cites and sources. His deal will be announced shortly and the availability of this material to the press was my purpose in begining the posting. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Benfeing (talkcontribs) 05:15, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You may see that I deleted it as a copyright violation. Please make sure next time you create a page it is properly referenced with soures that are not copied. Wikipedia doesn't accept copyrighted work, as can be read by clicking here. You may also want to read a guide to your first article. Rudget. 16:11, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sir Geoffrey Edmund Cator's page

I think its ridiculous to delete the Sir Geoffrey Edmund Cator page, that I created on 12 January 2008. Maybe you should post the page for Article for deletion and ask for votes and not just deleted the page without other concerns. Andrew KidmanTalk 11:11, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're right, I've just read over it and I'll restore it now. Apologies. Regards, Rudget. 11:32, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Iceland's portal peer review

Hello Rudget. Since you've been a recent portal peer reviewer, I request your input at the Iceland Portal's peer review. All general feedback is greatly appreciated. Best of luck on your RFA! Thanks, [sd] 13:45, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Great portal! :) I'll get around to it when I can. Kindest regards, Rudget. 13:47, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I left you a question, feel free to take your time, cheers! Tiptoety talk 21:48, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Rudget. I'm happy to tell you that you already have 81 supports (myself included) and only 4 opposes as of this message. I have given you support and I wish you good luck and a happy New Year. New York Dreams (talk) 13:03, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You're so kind. You really didn't have to. I appreciate all those who haved (!)voted in my RFA. Any suggestions always help. Thanks once again. Best, Rudget. 13:31, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

DuckTales Article.

I have to admit, I'm enjoy watching Disney's Ducktales and decided to write an article on a villain from the pilot five-part series. Take a look at El Capitan and tell me what you think of it. Perhaps you can help me improve on it. New York Dreams (talk) 10:58, 7 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Will do. Rudget. 16:30, 7 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like you already made it look better. Good work. New York Dreams (talk) 02:02, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As per the userbox on my userpage, not interested in Adminship at this point in time. I'm having fun just concentrating on getting articles and other content on the project up to Featured quality status, and keeping busy in that regard. Nice job: your RFA has made it to WP:100! Malinaccier Public (talk) 13:25, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just a shame about the block list. I've been told that my responses to the opposes, make it look like I am telling them that they should "be quiet". Of course, this isn't what I am trying to do but it looks like that nevertheless. Hopefully, it should pass though. And if so, I will stay away from blocking for at least one month. I'd rather use the tools for protection and roll-back, but this and my last RFA look like I'm "block hungry" - so to speak. Thanks anyway for coming to congratulate me, I very much appreciate that. Plus, I like the idea of a public computer account such as yours, I'll create one now. :) Best regards, Rudget. 13:32, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, public accounts are nice, so you know you won't get hacked and all. And your RFA looks like it will pass right now, at 91%. Good luck!! Malinaccier (talk) 00:01, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for voting in my RfA, which which passed nem. con. with 45 support, 0 oppose, and 0 neutral. Thank you for your support and all the kind words that were expressed. I will try to live up to the trust placed in me by the community. I now have my homework to do and then pass the Marigolds.

Haha, yeah I have Randy in my watchlist and just got on and noticed the massive removal of content. Him, Favre, and Marino get so much vandalism, its almost funny. Hope he gets blocked! I noticed you placed the message up top, so I figured it was time to report, keep up the good work!

Adminship

Thanks for your comment, however I've responded to User:Qst that "I don't know of any admin tools would help me with the article writing/improving I do & I don't think the potential benefits would outweigh the likely hassles - therefore I'd decline the offer at present". But thanks anyway & good luck with your RfA.— Rod talk 22:10, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Huh?

I don't understand this, either: "Yes, I'm a "professor" - with bended intermediate and distat phalanges on the index and middle fingers intentionally in your eyes. Thanks for your support
Thank you SO MUCH for your support in my unanimous RFA. Take this cookie as a small token of my appreciation.--Jayron32|talk|contribs 05:56, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hang on

You placed a speedy deletion tag on Moff, on the grounds that it was a re-creation of previously deleted material. That is not correct. This page is not a re-creation of what was deleted at AFD. The article deleted at AFD was a lengthy, in-universe digression filled with original research. This is a short disambiguation page so that if someone types the search term into the box, they'll be directed to the articles that most closely match what they're looking for. I think it's better to have a disambiguation page here than a red link. An AFD deletion doesn't mean that the article title can never be used for anything again. *** Crotalus *** 20:34, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your attention here. However this template was already deleted once outside deletion process, restored after DRV, and then nominated for MfD here. You should probably close the MfD with a good reason to ensure there's no good reason to restore this again. (my only fear is the lack of CSD reasoning in your delete log summary) Thanks :) Equazcion /C 10:30, 12 Jan 2008 (UTC)

I thought the rest of us had that fifth power, too. And you left off granting rollback privileges to other users. --Coppertwig (talk) 16:50, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hehe. I'll give Coppertwig my "spam" now. :) Rudget. 16:51, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Congrats as well. You certainly deserve it. And should something else pan out the way it looks it might, I'll have someone else to bother with all the questions I might wind up trying to pass off on them. Hee hee hee hee. :) John Carter (talk) 18:36, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Haha. It's certainly not what I expected, but that's good! :) Rudget. 18:37, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Congratulations! This is a good day for Wikipedia!... I'm sure now you have admin status you know of all the dark secrets of Wikipedia and what it is really a front for! Well done though, seriously! -- Jza84 · (talk) 21:55, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well done Rudget. All the best, and hopefully you still come down to GAC instead of being swamped purely with admin work (tsk Double Seven Day scuffle). Cheers. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 07:05, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
