Page moves

[edit]

Hello, Cat-paw-v1,

Regularly I see you move a page and then immediately move it back to its original location. Why are you doing this? Are you doing this to try to create a redirect? Because this is completely unnecessary. You can just tag the page #REDIRECT [[Article title]]. Please do not do back-to-back page moves where you just move an article and then move it back. It's becoming disruptive. Only move an article when you intend it to stay at the new page title.

If you have questions about page moves, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 02:41, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am trying to create a redirect. Thanks for notifying me, I did not know it was disruptive. -Cat🐱 (talk) 03:14, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Draft:Matt Shelton requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Sourced negative BLP that violates WP:BLP1E and WP:BLPCRIME

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 00:14, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
