Apology
I apologize about the edit on 2020 Singapore Open. You have to know that I only followed the format on other badminton series articles. Flix11 (talk) 01:18, 2 March 2020 (UTC)
- Flix11 Good day. I thank you for writing to me of the above mentioned. It is not because you followed the format of other badminton series articles, but (1) you a few references which they are added for the reason to make the article meets the WP:N guidelines- see WP:42 - it would be your benefit to understand the basic notability requirements after more than 70K edits you have made. (2) I use WP:VisualEditor (VE) for citing and once the URL of the source is pasted on the VE, the rest of the necessary fields will be filled. Yes it was my mistake for not checking if VE filled them (author) name correctly, but to have a [1] that implied I had mental health issue is not a polite/assume good faith/right way attitude as a Wikipedian. (3) I have indicated the reason of removing the external link and provided the Wiki link for your perusal, yet you commented my removal as "fixing vandalism", how my edit was considered vandalism? If you do not understand the 3 points above and thought you mainly follow the normal format of other badminton series then you do not understand why you have done on those edits and will continue to do so, I do urge you to seek further reading from the links provide or ask advice from any experience editor on that matter. I have looked at your other edits/history but will not comment in details but do suggest you to treat other editors with "extreme politeness and assuming good faith" and not insulting editor of nationality or comment the [2] but their edits. You have one of the best and polite CVUA teachers in Wikipedia, see how he communicates with other editors and learn form him. Everyone makes mistakes including I, we just learn from them, dont repeat the same mistakes and adhere to Wikipedia guidelines. Always remember, our purpose here is to collaborate with/support/help other editors and contribute to Wikipedia. I wish you well. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 02:35, 2 March 2020 (UTC)

Problems
- Readers who were not logged in briefly saw the interface in a language decided by their browser. It should normally be in the language of the wiki. This happened for a short period of time last week. This was because of a bug. [3]
Changes later this week
- If you forget your password you can ask for a new one to be sent to your email address. You need to know your email address or your username. You will now be able to choose that you need to enter both your email address and your username. This will be a preference. This is to get fewer password reset emails someone else asked for. [4]
- When you asked for a new password you could see if the username didn't exist on Special:PasswordReset. Now the page will show the username you entered and tell you an email has been sent if the username exists. This is for better security. [5]
- On Special:WhatLinksHere you can see what other pages link to a page. You can see if the link is from a redirect. You can now see which section the redirect links to. [6]
- The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 3 March. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 4 March. It will be on all wikis from 5 March (calendar).
Future changes
- The developers are working on a new interface to solve edit conflicts on talk pages. You can give feedback. [7]
- There is a vote on the creation of a new user group called abuse filter manager. The vote runs from March 1 to March 31 on Meta.
-
wgMFSpecialCaseMainPage
was used for the mobile site. It was deprecated in 2017. It will stop working in April. Wikis should see if they use it. If they do they should fix it. You can read more and ask for help. This affects 183 wikis. There is a list. [8]

CVU Training request
Hi i would like to be trained to fight vandilism the only problem is that i'm from England. Would that be a major problem? REDMAN 2019 (talk) 15:03, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
- REDMAN 2019 Good day. Thank you for interested in CUVA program. It is not an issue where you are from as I would usually respond within 24 hours. Pls see the CUVA Syllabus here. Kindly note that there are many editors who were interested in counter vandalism course and abandon the program mid way due to lack of anticipation of the amount of efforts/time needed in reading the program material, doing assigned "homework" and exams requirements. So do prepare yourself for lots of reading and homework if you intend to proceed with the program and kindly let me know. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 15:22, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
- I will attempt to prepere myself for the course the best I can this is something that I want to do and am willing to work for it. I do have one quick question. how long dus this usually take? REDMAN 2019 (talk) 15:36, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
- REDMAN 2019 It depends on how much time you have in hand to work on the assignments. There are 10 assignments and 1 final exam in the program. On average, most participants finish the program in 1.5 months. If you are busy due to personal/work reason and need to have a mini break (1-2 weeks), then just inform me in advance. Let me know if you have any other questions. Best. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 15:50, 3 March 2020 (UTC)

- REDMAN 2019 I have set up the program for you. If you have any question regarding the assignment, then ping me on the assignment sub page. Do note that the motto of the Counter Vandalism Unit is Civility – Maturity – Responsibility. Welcome to CUVA!. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 09:15, 4 March 2020 (UTC)

UFC 244
Look like someone is unware of the GA changes made on UFC 244? What should be done. Leave it undone or keep as right now while sandbox is being updated?Regice2020 (talk) 02:27, 6 March 2020 (UTC)
- Regice2020 Good day. The someone is an experience, regular mma editor and will always make sure the article as per normal format and would copy edit the event page after each event even the grammars are right. There is a template for mma fighter; however, I have never came across anywhere of a template for mma event (mma event fight record/table and infobox - yes but not a template for mma event article), Moreover, any article has be expanded to achieve WP:GA class. It can be taken in two ways (1) There is no reason to remove a chunk of reliable, independent sourced content as they are not WP:Disruptive/WP:Vandalism/WP:COPYVIO/WP:PROMO/ and the content is adhered to WP:NPOV. If the editor thinks the content is a mess (according to him), then he could just tidy it up instead of removing the source content which is Wikipedia:Relevance to the article. (2) however, to say that, since the current version is half done and slightly disjointed and not yet to achieve the goal of GA for review, we could just keep working on the 'working in progress" version in sandbox (I updated some info last few days), to avoid reverting each other and causing WP:edit warring or end up in WP:ANI due to the dispute and I think it would most likely happen if you insist to revert his edit(s). ( @Regice2020: Note-important - do not revert more than 3 times within 24 hours in the same article until the edit is a blatantly vandalism edits for you will be blocked/banned even if you are 100% right with all the sources and Wikipedia guidelines to back up your revert. - see WP:3RR). Remember, ANI is the last resort if a resolution can not be achieved in talk pages and I would suggest to avoid it unless it is deemed so necessary for WP:CIVIL, polite discussion and WP:AFG would be the best way to settle any issue and lead to a consensus resolution. You can choose to invite him to discuss in article talk page if you want; however, I recommend to leave it as it is and working on the wip version until such time it is ready to be reviewed. Best. Help me fixing this
Hello dear CASSIOPEIA please help me fixing this article Kinita Kadakia Patel this is my humble request, please help me in this situation. (Shubham Ghodke) 09:51, 7 March 2020 (UTC)
- Shubhamghodke3904 You page has been deleted due to promotional nature of the content. I cant view the content as it is deleted for such I can comment on how to fix it. I suggest you to read WP:Your First Article and make sure all the content is written in neutral point of view. Also pls read the links provide in the speedy deletion message , the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations, on your talk page. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 10:05, 7 March 2020 (UTC)
- CASSIOPEIA Can you tell somebody to create Kinita Kadakia Patel as this entity is popular. (Shubham Ghodke) 10:53, 7 March 2020 (UTC)
- Shubhamghodke3904 Article needs to be notable and adhere to WP:content policy to be accepted in Wikipedia and not based on the popularity of the entity. See here for - corporation notability requirements. I believe this is Indian company and I dont read any Indian languages for such I find necessary sources to back up the content claimed to meet WP:NCORP so I cant help to advice if the company is notable. You could place it on Wikipedia:Requested articles if you wish. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 23:52, 7 March 2020 (UTC)

CVU training request
Hi I would like to join to be trained for fighting vandalism. Chinar(Message) 17:31, 8 March 2020 (UTC)
- Chinar Tree Greetings. Thank you for interested in counter vandalism. The participant needs to have at least 200 edits on the mainspace to be registered in the program. At this moment you have only 107 edits (see here - under mainspace total and look for main). Once you reach more than 200 mainspace edit and if you are still interest in the program then pop back here and let me know. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 02:54, 9 March 2020 (UTC)

Hi Cassio
This must be moved from Amancio Paraschiv to Amansio Paraschiv (his real name). Help me, thanks!.— Preceding unsigned comment added by .karellian-24 (talk • contribs) 13:13, March 9, 2020 (UTC)
- .karellian-24 You can either (i) make a WP:Redirect or get the creator to request for WP:G7 for the incorrect name page. However, @Papaursa: I dont think the subject pass WP:NKICK. Pls share you thought Papaursa. Thanks. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 02:32, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
- He is passing boxing, he is bronze medalist in the Romanian championships. Plus he fought for the ISKA world title against Petrosyan's brother. Otherwise a SUPERKOMBAT world title like he held, it is more important than ISKA and all the "bodies". In kickboxing you are not even obliged to be sanctioned like in boxing. K-1, Glory, One, It's Showtime, Superkombat and Kunlun have better championships than ISKA & Co. Plus he is full of other titles and not just one. .karellian-24 (talk • contribs) 03:56, March 9, 2020 (UTC)
- For instance this does not pass (Darko Stošić). Final Fight Championship has been never a top promotion. But I am not gonna touch your work. His performances in MMA are not even near to of Paraschiv. Paraschiv fought best p4p Petrosyan, Ozcan (another top 5), and ended those fights. Plus he won Ngimbi former It's Showtime champion (it is even more important than beating a Bellator champion). .karellian-24 (talk • contribs) 04:03, March 9, 2020 (UTC)

- .karellian-24 Greeting. Darko Stošić had three fights in UFC (top tier promoter) - see here 1 and here 2 which means he meets WP:MMABIO. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 04:08, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
- Kickboxing is way more developed in terms of top promotions. It's Showtime, Kunlun, One, Superkombat, all over Bellator. Probably also 2 other Chinese promotions. Current K-1 not, questionable. But like I told you, I don't care about MMA. And the rules are not even equal, there are cans with 3 fights in Glory easily. Greetings! I hope we respect each other. .karellian-24 (talk • contribs) 04:18, March 9, 2020 (UTC)

- .karellian-24 for Kickboxing, pls see WP:NKICK. If he passes NKICK, then he is notable but you need indepedent, reliable to support the claim. .karellian-24 as per the content he won amateur Europen WAKO title and that is not a professional work title - that is the reason I think he is not notable, unless you can prove otherwise which has has won a world title a per NKICK requirements. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 04:20, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
- Cheers! The rules for kickboxing are completed f**ed up, mate, but he passes (fought for the ISKA World Championship and won a bronze in the boxing national championships - passes both boxing and kickboxing). .karellian-24 (talk • contribs) 04:37, March 9, 2020 (UTC)
- .karellian-24 G'day. I understand you are upset but be WP:CIVIL with your choice of words please. I am not the one who set the WP:NKICK, WP:NMMA, WP:NBOX or any of the sport specific guidelines, they were there before I joined Wikipedia. Secondly, for boxing, pls see WP:NBOX. Both of you claims ISKA championship (has to be a world title fight) and National armature boxing (in the final meas title fight and not second runner up fight) are not in the content of the article nor any inline citations (sources) are provided. If I miss them, then pls point them out to me. Did he represent his country for Olympic game in boxing? If he did then he would pass WP:NOLYMPICS. Let me know if anything else I could help. Cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 05:00, 9 March 2020 (UTC)

- .karellian-24 Thank you for the source. You need not only provide the announced bout but the result which means the fight actually happened as many fights got cancelled for many different type of reason prior to the fight. Put it on the body text (content) stated the announced bout and result, in the WP:LEAD section and the achievement section (provide inline citation of the fight result pls). This is important to claim he is notable. .karellian-24 Do note providing source is important to meet WP:PROVEIT which it the core policies of Wikipedia. Even it is true but without source, then we cant verify it and source can be in any languages as long they are independent from the subject and it is deemed reliable. Pls aslo see Wikipedia:But it's true!. Hope this helps. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 05:24, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
- I did that too, the first source is in Romanian with photos from the weigh-in. I did not create the article, but I do know him well plus I also remember the fight since I watched it on video. He is by far the best Romanian lightweight and probably in the band 10-20 of the world. And the newspapers wrote about a controversial stoppage. He was stopped for the first time in his career (and the only time) with a low blow. I may complete his profile later, there are some updates. I have some projects with the history of this sport now. I am also interested in MMA, just to know I am also following sometimes. Yeah, the fight was part of the Bellator in Italy Youtube video. .karellian-24 (talk • contribs) 05:32, March 9, 2020 (UTC)

I did put it in personal at first but then wasn't sure it fit there as it was UFC career related and not outside of that, however wherever you feel fits best is absolutely fine and thank you!! :) Music Editor 2017 (talk) 13:58, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
- Music Editor 2017 Good day. WP:LEAD section is the summary/introduction of most important aspect the subject and the info need to be stated in the bodytext. The info that you added in is not the most important aspect of the subject thus place in personal life section seems fine. Thank you and happy editing. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 14:10, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
Help requested
Hi Cass - there is an editor who's cross about the BMF thing and is furiously adding it to Jorge Masvidal, Nate Diaz and UFC Championships pages. Please take a look. NEDOCHAN (talk) 16:01, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
- NEDOCHAN Good day. Thank your informing and I will reply on the article talk page, so other editor can join in if they choose to. Best. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 00:24, 12 March 2020 (UTC)
Friendly suggestion
I see that your archive box is about the talk page header. I recommend moving it below so it doesn't create white space at the top. Interstellarity (talk) 23:06, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
- Interstellarity Thanks for the suggestion. I had tried a few times before and it didnt work as I wanted and I tried again just now and the result is the same. If you know how to do it, then kindly do it for me. Thanks in advance. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 00:07, 12 March 2020 (UTC)
- Does this look OK? Interstellarity (talk) 00:28, 12 March 2020 (UTC)
- Interstellarity Yes, It looks better and more organised. Thank you!!!. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 00:36, 12 March 2020 (UTC)

COVID-19 pandemic
As already know this a deadly virus and spreading fast. Its affecting many UFC Events and we should put a split section as info may get bigger on those UFC Event pages?
- Regice2020 I saw you have done it and I have moved the content up. I am ok with it, but not sure other will remove the sub section. By the way I sent you an additional info on ED but I didnt place the ping on the new line so the wont receive the message, - see here - UFC 244 so I sent you a talk back message on your talk page but I am not sure you read it as I saw the block. Dont be frustrated, but be careful and adhere to guidelines. Best. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 00:32, 13 March 2020 (UTC)
- CASSIOPEIA Those events affected by the COVID-19 pandemic better to be split into a sub sections without question asked. Its was obviously throwing the article event off topic to COVID-19 pandemic with the info being bigger than the event/event fighters itself. Regice2020 (talk) 20:28, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
- Regice2020 For those such as Olivera vs Lee it would be part of the background but for other would be in sub section. We can always make sub section later if the content of COVID-19 effected the event is a big scale. Best. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 23:20, 15 March 2020 (UTC)

I am not sure you have experienced or why it showed such on your screen. Take a look at the articles again tmrw and see if the articles go back to the normal format. Cheers.
