This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

The subject may be notable but it is currently unclear. Is there substantial coverage in reliable independent sources (per WP:RS)? Considerable reliance is placed on a couple of publications (Laporte, Malphrus), but are these more than passing mentions? A lot of the newspaper and magazine article citations cannot be verified online. The referencing is erratic, with some references including information better included as footnotes (I started a couple of examples); some references were also citing multiple sources (best to list them separately); some citations were repeated multiple times (these can be combined using ref name=) - see Wikipedia:inline citation. The full references to Laporte and Malphrus made the reflist overlong, so I've shortened them and referenced the full title, publisher in a bibliography. Wikipedia is not a reliable source so any citations referencing other pages have been removed.

Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.
