Hi, thansk for being polite
Hi CargoK,
thanks for being so polite.
You are absolutely right: I filed a user name change as suggested by you... but then I thought about deleting completely the account as I hadn't any answers up to now.
Best of all.

I have removed the Proposed Deletion tag that you placed on County Line High School, for reasons which I explained on the article's Talk page.--Unscented (talk) 21:29, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
Today with Pat Kenny
Ah hello. I've just noticed that Today with Pat Kenny is no longer a red link in any of the articles I carefully placed it in (mind you, it has been there long enough) so I thought I'd come along to thank the creator. :) As the person who began articles on his rival shows at RTÉ 2fm and Today FM, it is nice to see someone else working on a new Irish radio programme. Saved me some work, although I'll probably find ways to add to it as well. To think it was nearly deleted were it not for the intervention of Flowerpotman... --candle•wicke 23:32, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
- Absolutely. There are endless possibilities. It depends on your interests, although I often do shows that I don't have a huge amount of interest in. I recently created a template to keep the many You're a Star articles together; since it has finished it appears to have been forgotten about entirely. Lots of red links there and the main series article is a mess. For television programmes there are loads to choose from in the RTÉ archives. Some have articles in various states of disarray (especially those I haven't had the chance to improve yet), some don't have any articles at all. It is best to have some independent sources as well for each programme; these might be found on the sites of newspapers such as The Irish Times, Irish Examiner, Irish Independent, Evening Herald (the last two are usually good for TV). You can get lots of additional information there. And then if you get it as far as 1500 characters within five days (and if it has an interesting fact) it can be nominated for Template:Did you know where it might end up on the Main Page. If you were looking for something massive then there's The Late Late Show, an awful mess as well yet nobody ever seems to work on it very much. It has a habit of getting out of control, with people adding completely random facts without a source. Nobody has ever asked with any great enthusiasm about helping with radio and television before so this is good to see! :) --candle•wicke 21:04, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
- Well I found lots of stuff on the fifth series. I'm not sure if the same amount of information is available for all the series but if it is then it would probably be best to split it like the UK or US equivalents. --candle•wicke 21:54, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks, I'll see what I can do. I have done series five though, which is a good article to base it all on. Here are some sources for the sixth series. [1] [2] [3] [4] And two vague enough mentions for what I think is series three [5] [6] The official site seems to have a lot of information on series six. One for each charity series. Image permission problem with Image:David Brophy.png
Thanks for uploading Image:David Brophy.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the image (or other media file) agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the image to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the image has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the image's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Images uploaded of RTÉ Performing Groups
Hi there.
Thank you for informing me that I have to provide proof that I have been given permission to uploaded the RTÉ Performing Groups. I was in contact with a PR Executive in RTÉ Performing Groups via email. I have forwarded those emails on to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, but have heard nothing back. What do you suggest I do?
Thanks

- Hi CargoKing, it may take some time as the mail list is manned by volunteers. If you add {{OTRS pending}} to the text bit of the images you've uploaded that will tell people that the email has been sent. Peripitus (Talk) 12:33, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

- Oh excellent - can you convince them to put more information from their older radio and television programme archives online? :) Tubridy fan? The Full Irish needs expanding and actual sources before someone tries to delete it. Since you do Radio 1 shows and have created this, you could do the Radio 1 equivalent of Template:2fm... I meant to do that last year as well but got distracted by the fact that there's so much to do... lots of missing articles to be found on Template:Today FM too, specifically some of the more long-term presenters, who ought to have sources online somewhere, and Mario Rosenstock needs more sources as well... I see some of the articles on the radio templates don't have the templates on their pages as well... have you nominated any new creations or significant expansions for DYK? --candle•wicke 22:42, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

Hi, I'm afraid I had to move George Lee, yet again, because User:Damac didn't check the other George Lee's so we would have ended up with George Lee (English politician) and George Lee (politician), which would have been confusing! Speedy deletion nomination of Bobby Kerr (businessman)
A tag has been placed on Bobby Kerr (businessman) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Bonewah (talk) 17:31, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
