Aegina
[edit]Hello.
Eventually, Aphaia Temple will be moved to its own article, when I have enough material to allow it. It was a project. When Aegina was voted Featured Article, we discussed it. Don't worry. I will do it. I just needed access to my university library. Cedric B. 08:23, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- It's done. Check it at : fr:Temple d'Aphaïa Cedric B. 15:23, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- Great job, and so fast! Thank you Cedric. Also for already providing the interwiki links. Your article is very well researched and the imagery is a good choice. Maybe we'll see each other on Aegina sometime, for a coffee. --Carboxen 04:01, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
Apologies. I missed your stub and created a longer stub Franz Joseph Emil Fischer. I am sure you had the birth and death dates wrong. The German and French articles have them correct and I source a biography that gives them. Since there are many Franz Fischer's I have changed your stub to a disambig page rather than a redirect. The disambig material came from Fischer#F which is a bit of mess. Please help to expand "Franz Joseph Emil Fischer". --Bduke 08:43, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

Volcano Monitoring
[edit]Hello there. You'll have to forgive me if i make faux pas', I am unaccustom to talk pages and the like. :) Lavagirl here (you can call me Angela if you prefer) asking about your principles of volcano monitoring. I am due to defend my thesis at the end of June so I still have some time! I really like your principles and would like to include them in some way in my thesis. It is about unexpected eruptions and how effective monitoring can reduce risk in certain situations. My supervisors also like the principles and we are trying to figure out who you are to try to find some references that I can use to support them. Have you gotten any further with that? You can email me using my gmail account if that is easier. ilovevolcanoes at gmail dot com. Lavagirl nz (talk) 09:42, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

WP Volcanoes
[edit]Hello. If you haven't noticed, I've started a structural reorganization of WikiProject Volcanoes. So far, I've beutified the head page and moved a lot of the stuff to subpages of the project, so as not to bulk the main page. As an active member of the project (and its founder...), this is just a notice about what's going on. Comments go on the talk page. Happy holidays, ResMar 14:08, 25 December 2009 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Carboxen. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Carboxen~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell

Ludwigia
[edit]did you create the claim that Ludwig was not happy with the genus being named after him? Just looked through the edit history and thought it might be you. I removed it from the article because I couldn't find anything about it in the citation, but I'm curious about the story if you know more. Climbingflowers (talk) 00:54, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
