Cantras Vote for AboutUs.org! : )
[edit]When you think of the torment of being ignored by DMOZ and reading their converstation pages where webmasters meekly try to get an editor to read a year old request.. in fear of not making the list.. you will know why I am the first to write on this truly open directory. Plus I liked the controversy listed on some of the google search results which appeared to be a DMOZ editor potentially being phased out by the wiki style site that has just made it's rank 911 today (2100 avg. this past month). Read up on DMOZ and see this is simplay a new open version.
- This is a fantastic example of something being incomprehensible. Please strive to not leave comments like this one. That said, I do not support aboutus.org, and the article's neutrality is still extremely dodgy.Cantras 22:56, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
Shanley High School
[edit]so hey...so answer my question do u go 2 shanley??? or did u??? i go there...i AM a current student and i represent the voice of all of those who go there...which is 320 people of that # 95% feel the same as i do....and about the starvation thing...i feel bad for people who are starving and i organized a food donation at my school that was succesful...so yeah please stop changing my things i put on my school page...i wont delete urs....and delete this after u read it...thanks...
- The above comment was left on my user page (by User:Shsrockers), when I deleted "zomg theire rools r meen" edits to Shanley High School. I just took off the unencyclopedic POV wanking again. I will also be in charge of what I do and do not delete off my user/talk pages, thanks. Cantras 23:04, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
Schindler's List
[edit]It depends on if your information was something that was derived on your own, or if that was Spielberg's actual intent to have the title to be ambiguous like that. If it's the former, it violates Wikipedia's original research policy. If it's the latter, then the information would need to be verified by citing a reliable source. Also, sentences in parentheses are generally frowned upon if they can't be worked into the rest of the content without the parentheses. --Erik (talk/contrib) @ 19:05, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
Excuse me, but I'd like to know why you have added the speedy deletion tag to my work. The band is rising in popularity, and if you'd care to search google, you would find this out. Also I am a native of Derry and Ireland and I know how popular this band is!. Ryannus 17:10, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

IGBP
[edit]Hi, I have lifted the speedy tag from IGBP and I want to explain why. This article has been hanging around all night with a speedy tag on it but no-one has been prepared to touch it. Consequently, I have added some context and catted/stubbed it. TerriersFan 04:16, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
I think that the article is horribly written, and it probably deserves a speedy delete in this shape. However, the article could be expanded (not just wikified) into a good article. Thank you for showing this to me. Diez2 01:35, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
Kulthau
[edit]I just rescued it from speedy deletion. It needs some more, and I have made some suggestions on the article talk page. I have considerable experience in redoing academic bios to fit the WP peculiarities, and I'll keep an eye on it. DGG 05:37, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
Fairey Long-range Monoplane
[edit]Kindly be so good as to check when articles were created before tagging them for deletion. You have just left me with an edit conflict to resolve through your impatience.SDasey 19:25, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
UPDATE: the edit conflict has resulting in my entry being lost. I have therefore lost FOUR HOURS work! You will therefore pardon me if my opinion of you is extremely low.SDasey 19:28, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Warcraft G12
[edit]Thanks for the note; I think the ref to the violated source was still missing (or I didn't scroll down enough). Clearly you are right about G12. Thanks again! Baccyak4H (Yak!) 21:16, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Prod of Rahat John
[edit]Hey, just letting you know I changed the prod on Rahat John to a speedy delete under WP:CSD, I believe it is covered by criteria A7, however if the speedy is denied, I'll revert back to the prod. (Just letting you know why) --NigelJ talk 00:07, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
Good suggestions, I was hoping for specifically who you thought might be in charge or how to contact them. My 'hang on' was hopefully to leave it there long enough until someone 'in charge' does notice it, but it looks like it is gone now. Maybe the speedy deletion team forwarded to whomever is appropriate. JetheroTalk 15:08, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
