Hi, when you create a draft article, please do a search to make sure that a draft for that topic does not already exist. Because Draft:TAI T929 ATAK 2 already exists, I've redirected Draft:T929 Atak 2 Helicopter to it. I haven't copied any material from your draft to the older one, but you can do that yourself if you'd like. Thanks. BilCat (talk) 05:49, 16 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Always cite reliable sources

[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Corruption in Bangladesh, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. --Worldbruce (talk) 00:27, 23 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Control copyright icon Hello Canberra2021! Your additions to Corruption in Bangladesh have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 02:25, 24 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding you revestion of my edit, one your additional citations support my edit and contradicts what you wrote.

Specifically this artilce you cited: https://thediplomat.com/2021/09/the-strategic-symbolism-of-australias-nuclear-subs/ says:

It is not clear yet whether Australia will buy an off-the-shelf design from the U.S. or U.K. (of which there are only two real contenders: the American Virginia class or the British Astute class), or develop a class of its own, in partnership with"

Which is what my edit said.

The Virginia class has not been selected as the Australian SSN.

No class of vessel has been chosen - according to statements by the Australian PM and Defence Minister the vessel selection will take place over the next 18 months acording to public information -including the article you cited above.

Furthermore none of the articles you have cited support your position, none of the citations talk about what weapons, hull, sonar etc have been selected by or offered to Australia. Jtan163 (talk) 11:18, 20 September 2021‎ (UTC)[reply]

Morrison never said "based on US and UK hull, reactor and other designs and technology" this is not any sources and is original research WP:ORIGINAL. As is "The US has offered nuclear reactor" and "sonar suite and submarine hull to Australia and the UK to provide atomic fuel rods and associated facilities to support nuclear propulsion". The ABC didn't say likely "hull would be based on the Virginia-class or the British Astute-class" they said didn't know and may just use the power system from the Virginia and put in into a new design. Armaments is not relevant as they are not for submarines. All that can be written is that the Australia Defence Department has started a project and there may be a potential sale of the Virginia design or power system and potentially in the interim a lease arrangement.--Melbguy05 (talk) 10:59, 27 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I removed your statement about what could happen if the investigation begins because the sources you cited only included financial audits from 2021 and 2022 and didn’t cover any future possibilities. If you’d like to discuss this further, please head over to the talk page Talk:Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant Fuad-nse-03 (talk) 10:04, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Bangladesh Army. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Niasoh (talk) 03:06, 7 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add defamatory content to Wikipedia, as you did to Bangladesh Army, especially if it involves living persons. Your edits have been reverted. Don't push POV and every recent events like newspaper. Niasoh (talk) 03:08, 7 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Defamation is something someone didn’t commit but wrote about. In Bangladesh’s case, there is video evidence of the Bangladesh army violating human rights and photographic evidence of army officers shooting at student protesters. Individual names are necessary to identify the person involved in crimes against humanity. There are properly recorded genuine news and articles from Bangladeshi newspapers, instead of reverting Wikipedia content to protect the corrupt and criminals of Bangladesh. Go to Bangladeshi newspapers and ask them to cover up the corruption and crimes of the Bangladesh army. Do not revert any genuine referred content from the Bangladesh Army Wikipedia page. I know what can be written on Wikipedia and what cannot. I know for sure that ISPR involves sockpuppetry. Canberra2021 (talk) 23:49, 7 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
