Welcome!
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, Calcordan! I am Jenks24 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. Thank you for your contributions. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions check out Wikipedia:Questions, or feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or type {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. Again, welcome!

Northern Riverina FL
[edit]Your work on the article named above is very much appreciated, but including the nicknames of clubs in their actual names is unneccesary embelishment and should not be done except in certain circumstances (ie Western Bulldogs). Footy Freak7 (talk) 09:47, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
Please also note that the formal name of the league is the Northern Riverina Football League. The move you made was against established fact. Also (for what it's worth) never use a slash when moving an article. Footy Freak7 (talk) 00:07, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
The Danihers
[edit]Hi there and thank you for your contributions. Please note that verifiability and no original research are key pillars of wikipedia. Addition of information like what you have done to the Daniher brother articles MUST be accompanied by references - you can't just do it from memory, what you know or who you know - or even from the person themselves - see WP:AUTOBIO and WP:COI for the guidelines on that. So I've reverted your edits to Anthony, as you broke the info box and removed references. I've not undone your edits to the other brothers, but rather than just adding information, please also in future add references from reliable sources - they don't have to be online, books, old newspapers whatever, see the guides on citing sources and reliable sources for more information. Regards, The-Pope (talk) 02:00, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
Info Boxes
[edit]Please do NOT insert colour boxes into the info boxes. It's ugly and duplicates the jumper colours already included in the article itself outside the Manual of Style. Please do not put it back. Footy Freak7 (talk) 02:33, 16 November 2011 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for September 17
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mallee Football League (Victoria), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mallee (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
