Hello, I'm Dirkbb. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Srabani Sen, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Dirkbb (talk) 18:54, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Srabani Nanda, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Dirkbb (talk) 18:55, 27 March 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Amlaan Chakraborty
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Amlaan Chakraborty requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. creffett (talk) 13:31, 3 April 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:During hoichoi promotion.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:During hoichoi promotion.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
Whpq (talk) 21:03, 30 June 2020 (UTC)
Some tips
[edit]Hi there, re: these changes a few notes:
- Random parentheticals like "(Bannerjee)" are confusing as it is not clear what it is supposed to mean.
- Per MOS:HEAD, we use "Sentence case" for headings, not "Title Case". Please note the difference. So "Early Life and Education" is incorrect. "Early life and education" is correct.
- Per WP:SURNAME we typically don't call people by their first name, because that is too casual for an encyclopedia. An exception would be if their last name is a patronym. Otherwise, we use the subject's last name.
- People aren't "blessed" with children. Children come from a normal biological process called sexual reproduction. So proper encyclopedic tone is to say that the couple "had a child" or that someone "gave birth to a child". We don't use euphemistic language in encyclopedias. Another example: people die, they don't "pass away". Please keep this in mind moving forward.
- Lastly, all content needs to be attributed to a reliable published source. Unsourced biographical details are not helpful to us, and in some cases they could violate the subject's privacy. See WP:BLPPRIVACY.
You can view the fixes I performed here. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 22:40, 30 July 2020 (UTC)

Dhiraj Kumar moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Dhiraj Kumar, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. [edit]Hello Cacophony0Anir. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Dhiraj Kumar, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Cacophony0Anir. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Cacophony0Anir|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. signed, Rosguill talk 15:18, 30 September 2020 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Dhiraj Kumar (2)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Dhiraj Kumar (2), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
─ The Aafī (talk) 20:59, 30 September 2020 (UTC)
