Quick Note

[edit]

Hey, I just noticed one of your recent uploads and wanted to thank you for uploading it, and for releasing it into the public domain. In the future, please consider uploading your pictures to the commons as that way they can be used on all of the different language Wikipedias. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help out. --Hetar 18:49, 22 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I want to thank you too for the image, Rabelais would be proud :D --BMF81 21:09, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NYMA

[edit]

I just put the advertisment template on that page. However, I went to the school's website and found ... some of the same text. So, technically I could put a copyvio tag on that. But I won't.

Do you think you could rewrite those sections and get rid of the POV? You've done an awful lot of work on the page and I don't want to put it in copyvio limbo. Daniel Case 23:00, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK, good. It didn't seem in character with your other edits, but we do need to clean that up. I'll take a stab at it later if I can.

As for the pic, I go by there a lot as I do a lot of substitute teaching at this nearby institution. (Well, the gate is technically not on my way home, but it's just a short turn away). I knew I had to get it in there at some point. It helps that the house across the street from it seems to be owned by the school so I could crouch in its front yard.

I see here you're a NYMA alum. A guy in my high school class down in NJ actually spent his freshman year there. Yes, he had been a bad boy and it was his father's decision. He came back for 10th grade and told us he learned that there were kids out there a lot badder than he could ever have been, so he was much better behaved after that.

BTW, is this IP registered to NYMA? Would you know? It would seem so from some of the vandalism to the article from it and .180 as well, but I haven't gotten a solid trace on it (I know it isn't from either of Cornwall's secondary schools). If so, I'm sort of amused that they're on the Orange-Ulster BOCES backbone.

It would be nice to know this for sure so we could report any vandalism to the proper person at NYMA. I've actually gotten someone disciplined in the past. Daniel Case 18:45, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Poop

[edit]

I just wanted to commend you on that nice turd on the feces page. That is the greatest piece of feces I have ever seen. See you on the Wikis. Pink Sock 03:18, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Me too, that is the loveliest poo I have ever seen. I wish my feces was as nice as yours. Well done! -- AnemoneProjectors (talk) 13:56, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please check the talk page for the poop image - I am very curious to find out your dietary habits proir to the creation of the poop.

Alas! its up for deletion; see Wikipedia:Images_and_media_for_deletion#August_5 I hope it survives - Jack (talk) 17:39, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your pic of shit is disgusting!!!!!

Thank you for making your photograph. I have adapted your photo for in an upcoming post on my blog Luminiferous Aether. When it comes online in a few days please let me know if the way I have credited you is acceptable.

Thank you again,

--Grey1618 (talk) 06:58, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your pic of that shit is fucking AWESOME!! Its perfectly coiled, and seems to contain a piece or red pepper. What are the black looking dots in the poo? Bravo! Bravo!

Image details

[edit]

Sure. I took all the stuff that wasn't already at Commons and stuck it there. [1]. You can fiddle with it if you'd like. :) Dmcdevit·t 19:38, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

DVT

[edit]

I am confused as to why you saw the need to move the whole page on Driving Van Trailers. This article was one in a series specifically on British Rail coaching stock. Surely you could have left it be, and just put a link to it from the control car page, as per DBSO? Our Phellap 17:40, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was planning on adding a similar level of detail on individual coaches to the DVT article, which is why I am querying you moving the page. I can see your problem. Perhaps you could just link the DVT article and briefly summarise it on the control car page. Our Phellap 17:58, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
OK thanks. I have made a start adding more details about the vehicles, and will add more as time permits. If you know anymore about the Irish DVTs, feel free to add, as I don't know much about those. Our Phellap 22:37, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

SBB articles

[edit]

(in response to your post on my talk page) Yes, feel free to edit "my" articles as necessary. Currently these are SBB-CFF-FFS Ae 6/6, SBB-CFF-FFS RABDe 12/12, SBB-CFF-FFS RABDe 8/16, SBB-CFF-FFS RBe 540, Train speed optimization, Automatic train protection system, List of stock used by Swiss Federal Railways, Gotthardbahn and Integra-Signum. SBB-CFF-FFS Re 620 will probably follow soon. That should keep you busy for now ;)

By the way, how do I make articles part of the WikiProject Trains or "maintained by the Passenger trains task force"? Just add the respective tag to the talk page? Or are only certain people supposed to do this? Or do some people have to agree? Bye & thanks. --Kabelleger 09:08, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Human Feces Image

[edit]

I'm keeping an eye on it. Right now, there's obviously no consensus to delete. To boot, I have no idea how the nominator intends to delete an article on Wikimedia Commons via a Wikipedia deletion process. Even if 500 people came in and said "Delete", I don't think there's anything that can be done about it here. I'm not sure on the procedure for removing such nominations, but it probably ought to be done. Powers 14:45, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why do you congratulate him

[edit]

I can not understand why you would congratulate him for excreting faeces. Faeces are expelled usually on a daily basis and it is a fairly typical faece so i can't understand why there is so much hype about it. DARReNTALK 18:42, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for finally fixing the color guard page. You're a good guy. Don't listen to darren. How'd ya get your doo to curl up like that, anyway? That's quite a talent. You're an exceptional doo curler. I mean that sincerely ;) cdpanic 08:28, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bad image tagging

[edit]

Actually, I tagged Image:Human Feces.jpg precisely because it was used in vandalism today. See Winstonpeters (talk contribs). Image:Human feces.jpg (notice the lowercase) is already blacklisted if you hadn't noticed. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Netsnipe (talkcontribs) .

Yo' Poop

[edit]

I really like your picture of feces. What you eat to make it? How you make it orangish with red and green dots? It really nice. Remind me of cat food. I want to know how to make mine like yours. 75.7.11.14 08:24, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is obvious that the sole purpose of the picture is not to provide as information (since everybody knows what feces looks like) but rather shock, amusement or to generate the kind of reactions on your talk page and not only. Wikipedia will fare quite well without it.--Kamikaze 11:07, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'd suggest you should be the one to carefully review the talk page. In case you didn't know, a consensus has been reached for removing it.--Kamikaze 09:03, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use Image:NYMA_AFI_Marching.jpg

[edit]
Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:NYMA_AFI_Marching.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 7 days after this notification, per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. – Quadell (talk) (random) 17:50, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:NYMA Round Crest.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --FairuseBot (talk) 02:02, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yo, that is just vile, why would you photograph a shit?

your poop

[edit]

i came here after reading the caption on the feces wiki page and i'm not disappointed by the various comments on your poop.

i was wondering why we needed a photo since we all poo anyway, but i must admit the swirly form is quite immaculate as others have pointed out; it gave me a good giggle though seeing it enlarged on my computer screen was quite confronting at first. well done and a deserved congratulations on your famous 17 year old poo :) Blueedwin (talk) 21:24, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings, Cacetudo. Regarding places you have been: I don't see the flag of Bosnia & Herzegovina. You might want to correct this rather large absence by making yourself present sometime soon in this beautiful country. I'd suggest you start (as most do) with Sarajevo -- a vibrant and welcoming city, but make sure you rent a car and get yourself to Mostar and other places in Herzegovina, to me the most fascinating part of BiH. You also seem not to have been to Croatia, which means you have the Adriatic jewel city of Dubrovnik to look forward to -- only a 2-hour drive from Mostar Get on that plane! 76.70.116.106 (talk) 22:28, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
