Why so many unnecessary articles?
[edit]You seem to be coordinating the move and hence creation of multiple new articles, presumably as part of an undeclared educational project. It is frustrating that these new article, which have some really helpful content, are being established as essays that run in parallel with current structures.
For example, you've created
- Topical glucocorticoids which heavily overlaps with the existing Topical steroid
- Adrenergic blocking agent which heavily overlaps with the existing Alpha blocker and Beta blocker (and I'll save you my hobby-horse of the difference between an antagonist and a blocker ...)
- Prostaglandin inhibitors is a neologism and is redundant because of the pages for Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug and glucocorticoids. It's also deeply misleading, as inhibiting the production of a prostaglandin isn't the same as inhibiting its action.
- You've created Proprietary drug, when you could have just added a helpful section to Drug nomenclature
- Antiarthritics when you could have expanded Arthritis#Medications
- Cholinergic blocking drugs completely duplicates Anticholinergic
- There are many more move on that date that I can't currently bring myself to list ...
In fact almost every other creation in article space on the 17th August was unhelpful (I do think that Prescription drug addiction is a helpful modern topic deserving of separate coverage) because they duplicate the scope of existing pages. Can I therefore request that you co-ordinate your team (students??) to merge the helpful and well-referenced contents into whether they should have have been in the first place.
Note that it's not necessary for all possible pharmacological term to have its own page as Wikipedia is WP:NOTADICTIONARY.
Can I suggest that you ask about useful contributions over at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Pharmacology. Klbrain (talk) 23:53, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
- Note also that page names should be singular, not plural (see WP:PLURAL). Klbrain (talk) 14:30, 22 August 2021 (UTC)

Moving drafts
[edit]Hello, Cabswang,
Do not take it upon yourself to move other editors' sandboxes and drafts to main space of the project. This can easily lead to the deleteion of the article and I'm sure other editors would not appreciate you being responsible for this. Please just tend to your own article creations or work on improving articles in main space. Stay out of other editors' User pages. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 03:08, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
