Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Patrick Wanis, as minor if (and only if) they genuinely are minor edits (see Help:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearranging of text without modifying content should be flagged as a 'minor edit.' Thank you. A new name 2008 (talk) 02:09, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Patrick Wanis

[edit]

Please refrain from adding information on Patrick Wanis from any articles, unless you can provide reliable sources published in major news papers or similar outfits. Continued insertion of this material will probably result in action being taken against your account, including blocking your right to edit wikipedia. A tag has been placed on Law of Deservedness, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Law of Deservedness and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Tmtoulouse (talk) 06:03, 19 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sources

[edit]

The issue is that there are no reliable sources that discuss him. Please review WP:RS and then go ahead and list any sources you find that meet that criteria below this comment. I will review them and discuss with you if they meet the criteria to recreate a page. Tmtoulouse (talk) 06:25, 19 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, as an aside, can I ask your interest in Patrick Wanis? Are you a friend? Associate? Are you actually Patrick Wanis? Tmtoulouse (talk) 06:34, 19 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
