Hello, and again, welcome to wikepedia. I noticed your edits to the Washington University article. I appreciated your contributions about the Sam Fox School of Art and Architecture. However, I am wondering why you deleted some information, such as Chancellor Wrighton's salary, and the discussion about admission pracitices. When deleting information from an article, it is often helpful to use the edit summary or the talk page to explain your reasoning. Thanks! TMS63112 18:50, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
- Hi. . .you removed the same information again, and I have restored it again. Please offer some explaination about your reasoning for removing the sentence about the Chancellor's salary. . .I'm open to discussion. TMS63112 20:11, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
- Please stop removing sourced and valid information from the Washington University in St. Louis article. You've given no reason for these removals in your edits and have not discussed them on the talk page. Bjsiders 19:25, 23 January 2006 (UTC) (Moved from User page)
- Hello. You have removed the Channelor's salary information at least two more times without any explanation. I have reverted it again. The data provided is factually accurate and sourced. Please discuss your edits on the talk page before making them again. Bjsiders 17:25, 24 January 2006 (UTC)
- You have made the same edit again without any consultation or discussion. Please refrain from any further removals of information from the article without offering at least a reason in the talk page. [[User::Bjsiders|Bjsiders]] 22:16, 25 January 2006 (UTC) (Moved from User page)
- Same. Again. You're not helping your cause. TMS63112 17:42, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
- CLyerla, just because you delete text anonymously doesn't mean you are anonymous... your IP (128.252.108.144) is a Washington University IP, and you're the only one that has an opposition to this line. Could you please state your reasons? --Barfooz 21:40, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
Undiscussed reverts
[edit]There seems to be an ongoing edit war over the mention of the chancellor's salary in the lead section of Washington University in St. Louis. This information seems to be properly sourced. Those editors who think it ought to be removed should discuss their reasons for excluding it (or thinking that it is incorrect) here, rather than simply reverting it. Removing proeprly sourced content agaisnt consensus can be considered to be disruption. Please discuss and try to achieve consensus, rather than simply reverting. More Undiscussed reverts
[edit]Because of your constant removal seal the Washington University without discussing it with members, and your flagrant violation of the 3 revert rule, I'm requesting that your user account be blocked. please see link for more details WP:AN/3RR.--Astuishin 22:58, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
WUSTL Images
[edit]Please post the policy for use of WUSTL images. There appear to be 3 types: seal, shield, and logotype. Please explain the use policies for each so we can avoid further undiscussed edits. Lmbstl 03:58, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
- Ms. Lyerla- Thanks for taking the time to exlain. So, which logotype or image would be ok to use for the WUSTL article on Wikipedia? If you do not know or cannot say, is "Dan" the person whom we should speak with? Thanks, --Lmbstl 15:56, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
- You referred the shield issue to Wikipedia Legal and WUSTL Legal, correct? Until the issue gets resolved, please stop reverting the WUSTL article. We are open to communication, but you are not communicating, andd it is obvious that everyone is stalling. Simply reverting the article won't do at this point. Thanks, Lmbstl 04:00, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
Legal contact
[edit]Re posting from talk page- I would actually like to get in touch with University's legal office, because I've already emailed Dan and he saw no legal problems with the posting of the shield. Is there anyway you could direct me to them? Preferably by email, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You. Astuishin 21:01, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
