Pinoy Rock article edit

Hi Captain Raju, please kindly accept my edit on this article as this is how the band name is spelled. It's Pu3ska, not Putreska. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kyobinbou (talkcontribs) 00:40, 13 September 2016 (UTC)

The "edit" comes from a "reliable source" - I'm his wife.

Can't get much more reliable than that!

Prakruti along with other talented Odia actor actresses shared screen who are also similarly acclaimed in the state and it gives a look to the scale of show she has done. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anubha Sourya (talkcontribs) 21:48, 13 September 2016 (UTC)

Hi Captain Raju, i think the 2 informations i changed on the wikipedia page of Dominique Da Sylva are more than important : 1) his name is not written correctly as he is Dominique da SYLVA and not Dominique da silva 2) he is now playing for the club of Ermis Aradippou since august 2016

So could we update his page ?

Best regards — Preceding unsigned comment added by Huguesfoot (talkcontribs) 06:46, 14 September 2016 (UTC)

Yes, looks as if these were good edits. Have reverted, and then moved the page to Sylva as it seems more common, though both get used - sometimes together as in this or here where the text has Sylva but the URL uses Silva! The text needs updating as it seems to be 2 clubs behind the times. PamD 15:55, 14 September 2016 (UTC)
@Huguesfoot: Please remember to add a section heading for any new talk page topic (easily done if you use the "add" tab at the top), and to sign your posts, and to give a link to any page you are talking about. Thanks. PamD 15:56, 14 September 2016 (UTC)

Big L

Hey, I added a few things on to the Big L Wikipedia page that the last editor had left out and so I decided to add some more unknown facts. Can you explain why my edits were undone? — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheOfficalChanger (talkcontribs) 09:33, 14 September 2016 (UTC)

My Recent Changes to Double Cross System

You're incorrect. My edits were very constructive. VERY much so. But, whatever. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.16.11.47 (talk) 18:05, 15 September 2016 (UTC)

Zen Go

I wrote about Zen Go for Wikipedia. You reverted my contribution. Why did you consider it vandalism? Was my english incorrect? Zen Go is a gift for its practitioners as it calms down the mind. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.122.91.104 (talk) 21:47, 15 September 2016 (UTC)

Review

Can you please review Astell&Kern. I am aware it was deleted before in 2012-2013, but no one has reviewed it at all. IF you can, please help. sheldon.andre (talk) 15:16, 16 September 2016 (UTC)

@Sheldon.andre: Reviewing  Done. CAPTAIN RAJU () 20:38, 16 September 2016 (UTC)

The user is correct. He has every right to remove warnings from his talk page. There are only a few exceptions to what a user can remove, and warnings are not included. Please don't restore warnings to users pages. Disruptive editors will still be noticed even if they clear their talk pages. Meters (talk) 20:48, 16 September 2016 (UTC)

Ah, never mind. I see he's a sock of an LTA. My apologies. Meters (talk) 20:50, 16 September 2016 (UTC)

Paper Soldiers

This is IHitIt1st: I have seen Paper Soldiers fully, so I am only typing what is in the movie. Why do you have a problem? Also, "&" means and, so what's the difference? It saves space you know. — Preceding unsigned comment added by IHitIt1st (talkcontribs) 23:07, 16 September 2016 (UTC)

Hey, IHitIt1st, it was actually me who undid that revision. One reason I undid it is because it appeared to be original research because the change was completely unsourced. Original research is not allowed on Wikipedia. As for the reason the ampersand was undone: That's not allowed either. We follow a Manual of Style here, which states, In normal text and headings, the word and should be used instead of the ampersand (&).
As for Captain Raju, he undid your edit to Murphy Lee, not the one to Paper Soldiers, and only he can explain why.

Editing

Hey there, I was actually trying to translate Mohammad Naciri's article into another language but following the instructions of wikipedia on how to do it, didnt help me and I ended up writing on the english version. Luckily, I managed to undo what I did. Trust me Raju, no one wants to mess with their directors' wiki page..! :) User:Lemonia Fokaidou —Preceding undated comment added 13:02, 18 September 2016 (UTC)

Want to help test advanced new tools planned for Recent Changes?

Hi Captain Raju! I’m reaching out to you because our logs tell us you’re a very active Twinkle user (top 25, actually!). The WMF Collaboration team is working on new tools that we hope will be useful to people engaged in reviewing recent changes, fighting vandalism or supporting new users. We want to test them for usability with editors who are experienced with relevant wiki work. If you’re interested in helping to shape this new technology—we’d like to hear from you.

The testing should take about an hour, will be conducted online, and will take place during the next few weeks. To participate, please email dchen[at]wikimedia.org with the subject line Twinkle User. Include the following information:

  • Username
  • Email where we can reach you
  • Your city or time zone
  • Best time to talk to you
  • Your primary use of Twinkle or Recent Changes (e.g., reviewing recent changes, reviewing with a particular focus (specify), anti-vandalism, new-page review, welcoming new users, etc.)

Thanks! Dchen (WMF) (talk) 17:55, 19 September 2016 (UTC)

Captain Canuck

I logged in as rcomely to make a number of changes and updates to the Wikipedia Captain Canuck entry. I am the creator and owner of Captain Canuck and wanted to correct some of the errors and update to more current information. I am new at this and do not understand why my changes were removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.63.160.127 (talk) 22:03, 19 September 2016 (UTC)

Clarifications Needed

First, okay, yeah, me adding ostensibly to articles inappropriately was me being an immature vandal. I occasionally do add useful information, as I feel I did to Autism Speaks. I do not know how these remarks can be anything besides hate speech. Further, driving a car off a cliff with a child inside who you intend to kill is attempted murder, provided this child does die, this is murder. I do not know how this can possibly be biased, unfair, or not neutral in any way. It is objectively true. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.129.221.41 (talk) 16:48, 20 September 2016 (UTC)

Please remove speedy deletion nomination from artist article "Hollis Jeffcoat"

Hi there! Hope you're well. I have contested the speedy deletion nomination on the page for Hollis Jeffcoat twice, yet it has not been removed. This is a valid article on a significant living contributor to third generation abstract expressionist art whose work hangs in museums and private collections all over the world. Content will be added to the page today and in following days. Thanks so much! -Jane — Preceding unsigned comment added by Janebrickley (talkcontribs) 17:00, 20 September 2016 (UTC)

Spelling

Hi. You disagreed with my correction of the mis-spelling of "led" as "lead". Are you saying that the word "lead" in the sentence was actually a noun rather than a verb? To me, it looks as though the sentence is saying that "lefty streaky shooter and Hall of Fame Tony Reid (Virginia State University)" was the leader (in winning the championship), in which case the word (led or lead) is the past tense of the verb, pronounced to rhyme with "fed" and spelled "led". If I'm wrong, please explain further. Regards, 87.81.205.186 (talk)

Clarification

First of all, thank you for including my positive editions of information to wikipedia. I will agree posts concerning Leroy Brown and Oscar the Grouch were probably less than useful. However, my comment to Life, is correct. There is no other way ANYONE could see the game. You have literally zero control over the game after that point, unless you deliberately rig the spinner. Also, Bob Craggit is supposedly--or ostensibly--overworked and underpaid. Dickens provides no evidence for either claim. In the midst of the industrial revolution, I'm sure a talented book-keeper (thus not Craggit) would have been able to find better employment, if not, he is not underpaid. Regarding Autism Speaks, what she said fits Wikipedia's own definition of hate speech. Autism Speaks routinely portrays persons on the Autism Spectrum in a negative light, I do not see how either of these additions were inaccurate. Murderous might be a strong word, but drowining a child is an act of murder in every legal jurisdiction and the desire to do so is a murderous desire. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.129.221.41 (talk) 18:04, 20 September 2016 (UTC)
