[edit]Hello, and thank you for your recent contributions. I appreciate the effort you made for our project, but unfortunately I had to undo your edit(s) because I believe the article was better before you made that change. Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions. Thank you! Leoesb1032 (talk) 00:19, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
- That was an automated message by STiki and when I saw that on the article, it didn't looked back by any evidence. If you show a source, feel free to put it on. Leoesb1032 (talk) 19:16, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
A complaint was made about your edit summary
[edit]Please see User talk:EdJohnston#Sanction. An editor complains you said 'fuck off' in a local language. You can respond on my talk page if you wish. And in the same edit, I see you are reverting Muslims (nationality) to Bosniaks. That sounds risky. If the census asked people whether or not they were Muslim, that's the terminology we should use when summarizing the census. Anything besides that, it's like altering the text of a direct quote. That's not a thing we do on Wikipedia. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 15:22, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Kotromanić dynasty
[edit]I noticed the edit war at Kotromanić dynasty. What you reverted there was not vandalism. The coat of arms, at the very least, seems a valid alternative (compare here, which gives the original source). Reverting back and forth is not the way to resolve such content disputes, not even when you're right. Instead, you should have explained on the talk page why you're right, and should have tried to reach a consensus with the other editor. Edits such as this won't really help achieve that goal. You're quite lucky that you weren't both blocked for that edit war. Huon (talk) 20:16, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
- Huon, thank you for instructions. There is a case of long-time abuse of this user (sock puppet too), and I'm just looking for that case in archives. If you familiar with this subject, you'll find out that it's only not about CoA, but also some other statements (son of Ban Borić is not Kulin ban).--C3r4 ((ask me)) 20:28, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
- Dear Huon, I've found case what I've looking for. I suspect that this IP is connected with this case.--C3r4 ((ask me)) 20:47, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
Signing open proxy check requests
[edit]Please sign requests that you make to WP:OPP. It makes it easier for us to know who's requesting the check if we have any questions. SQLQuery me! 03:04, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
- @SQL, sure I will, I didn't know how it works.--C3r4 ((ask me)) 07:39, 18 January 2018 (UTC)

. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 20:16, 21 January 2018 (UTC)@User:K6ka, thank you for ending this edit-war. I know 3RR rule, but what else I should do anyway? --C3r4 ((talk)) 20:39, 21 January 2018 (UTC)
- See WP:Dispute resolution. You should explain on the talk page why you disagree with the changes (particularly the coat of arms, for which a source was provided on the talk page); you can also ask editors of a related WikiProject (such as WT:WikiProject Heraldry and vexillology or maybe WT:WikiProject Bosnia and Herzegovina) to weigh in. When multiple unrelated editors agree that your preferred version of the article is the better one and no one agrees with the other editor, there's clearly a consensus for one version. (Also, when multiple people agree with you, you don't need to be the only one reverting back to the version you prefer - you should not violate WP:3RR except in cases of blatant vandalism (which this is not), copyright violations, libel and the like.) If the other party keeps reverting without joining the discussion, then it's more clear who is disruptive, and WP:ANEW or WP:AN/I are appropriate places to bring them to admins' attention. Huon (talk) 21:18, 21 January 2018 (UTC)
- OK thanks Huon. In any case, IP using proxy reverted again so please if you could revert it back. Btw. proxy is blocked as you can see.--C3r4 ((talk)) 07:00, 22 January 2018 (UTC)
K6ka, the IP might be a long term block evader. Please see this. Just FYI. --NeilN talk to me 16:05, 22 January 2018 (UTC)
- The IP was almost certainly User:Bosnipedian. And as soon as the article was protected, a sleeper account, User:Tersarius, woke up and began doing edits identical to the IP. I have indeffed Tersarius per SOCK and reported it and the IP at WP:Sockpuppet investigations/Bosnipedian. User:K6ka or User:Huon, maybe this might suggest some leniency toward C3r4? --MelanieN (talk) 17:02, 22 January 2018 (UTC)
- K6ka, Huon, @MelanienN, it's OK, I have already "huge" experience in this particular case on my home wiki (bs.wiki), as I'm admin there, and can "recognize" this guy "from a mile". Anyway thanks for assistance and help. Best regards,--C3r4 ((talk)) 18:40, 22 January 2018 (UTC)
- Meh. I have lifted the block, which was about to expire in about an hour and a half anyway. I would like to emphasize, though, that edit warring is disruptive even when you're right, and that canvassing someone to edit on your behalf when you're blocked is not a good idea. Please find other ways to deal with such situations: Establish a consensus that your version indeed is the better one, then go to one of the noticeboards - edit warring, page protection or WP:ANI for cases that need admin intervention but don't fit any of the more specialized boards. Huon (talk) 18:59, 22 January 2018 (UTC)
