@Mattdaviesfsic how many sources are needed for a geographic site? some other geographic regions, such as the Bakossi Mountains of Cameroon, have very few sources. The purpose of this page is to provide context for the distribution of endemic taxa such as Kabobo Apalis, which was recently misattributed to the nearby Itombwe Highlands in Wikipedia. Buteogallus (talk) 22:34, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There's no hard-and-fast rule on the number of sources, but see the second grey box: it needs "significant coverage" in reliable sources. It needs to demonstrate how it's notable enough for a WP article. Mattdaviesfsic (talk) 06:06, 12 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the awesome article!
I cannot access most of the book sources, so just make sure you aren't conflating two very different people. The birth date in this, does not match the birth date on the article. Ca talk to me! 08:04, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks so much for the catch, this was a typo on my part. 1871 is the correct birth date according to Find-A-Grave.com - I added a citation to this source next to his death location. Buteogallus (talk) 14:16, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks so much for the feedback, Paul. I've worked to make the article more neutral and have resubmitted it. If there's anything else specific you would advise I work on or change, please let me know. Buteogallus (talk) 12:48, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your contributions to Nebraska Ornithologists' Union. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. JTtheOG (talk) 17:46, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@JTtheOG thanks for the feedback! I'll work on getting some more citations together before resubmitting. Buteogallus (talk) 18:19, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
