Speedy deletion nomination of Daniel Genis

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Daniel Genis, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. (See section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) If an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. [edit]Hi, thanks for your message. The first version was deleted through a deletion discussion, which concluded that their were inadequate sources to establish notability. The second version had serious problems, and I felt that since it had been deleted after a discussion, it could not be retained. I deleted your article because
- it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. It is now Wikipedia policy that biographical articles about living people must have independent verifiable references, or they will be deleted.
- There was no text about him, just a list of publications, so there is no claim of notability to assess.
- There was a dump of urls at the start, but since they were not in-line I have no idea what fact each is supporting (although there aren't any facts anyway). Put your references in the the text following the fact each supports using <ref>[url description]</ref>, as you did in your message to me (I may nowiki them for clarity)
- Some of your references don't meet our criteria anyway; social media, blogs, anything self-editable or websites of unknown provenance are not acceptable.
He may well be notable, but we need some verifiable facts, not a list of publications. It's no good saying "look on Google", if you want an article here, you need to write in in accordance with our policies Jimfbleak - talk to me? 16:18, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for your message. I'm not sure why you have put your research on my talk page, I'm not planning to write the article. I'll move it here shortly. It's better to write your draft in a sandbox anyway, since it gives you time to get it right before throwing it to the wolves. It's not the number of references so much as the quality that matters. If you want any help, let me know

- Huon is an administrator with 32,000 edits here, so I think he knows what he's doing. He could have deleted your article himself, but he tagged it instead so that another pair of eyes saw it first. Remember to be WP:Civil too. Sources that are editable by their subject are not independent, and interviews fall into the same category, since the interview report is often just the writer regurgitating what the interviewee said, which is often self-promotional an obviously not independent. ::HI Jim, saw something about threats in relation to me and 'Huon', who goes by no name.... that's cute. I will see Genis tomorrow afternoon- Monday. What would you like me to say? He types on a typewriter, so he will never find any of that stuff unless his agent shows him, and she's pretty busy. Should he just dump all of it on his fan page and let them write articles, or contact Huon, even though he lacks a name? How would you prefer this fixed? He's pretty notable in 2015; look up last night's nightlife and check out... actually, it's not my job and Genis has both an agent a publicist who don't threaten anyone. Good luck and may your evaluation of notability bring you success! As I'm sure it will Huon.....Burton1978 (talk) 08:12, 1 June 2015 (UTC)Burton1978
Speedy deletion nomination of Nancy Love Literary Agency
[edit]Hello Burton1978,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Nancy Love Literary Agency for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. ubiquity (talk) 03:01, 1 July 2015 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Klein Sun Gallery
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Klein Sun Gallery requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.kleinsungallery.com/gallery. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. reddogsix (talk) 09:44, 1 September 2015 (UTC)
