American Horror Story: Freak Show

Hello, there is a current ongoing discussion revolving around the inclusion of actors on the article American Horror Story: Freak Show, over on the talk page. I thought you may be interested in voicing your opinion. Thank you and cheers, LLArrow (talk) 01:27, 12 October 2014 (UTC)

Hello. I would like to respectfully ask you to STOP unnecessarily revert my edits. I'm not suiting my personal aesthetic, they're officially written this way as you can see here and here. Also, the title of the Wikipedia page of the category actress Angela Bassett has been nominated is written Mini-Series as well, as you can see here. I appreciate all of your contributions. Israeldmo (talk) 22:13, 14 January 2015 (UTC)

Hello. You, again, mistakenly accused me to change the spelling of "mini-series" for personal preference. You didn't show me any reason, something that I did. Please, stop revert my edits, this started to frustrate me. Thanks. Israeldmo (talk) 03:13, 116 January 2015 (UTC)
Israeldmo It is personal preference, all other American Horror Story articles have "miniseries" and it's important to keep things consistent. If a certain award has been spelt "mini-series" by the company that administer's the award itself then I believe it's acceptable but you neglect to notice that other awards use "miniseries", so it is also important to apply your logic to both sides instead of being biased to one way of spelling. So once again, please refrain from changing it to suit your standards, either leave it alone or spell it according to what the title of the award is. I also encourage you to take advantage of the use of consensus on the talk page of the article if the spelling is really bothering you that much. Thanks Brocicle (talk) 21:47, 16 January 2015 (UTC)

Glee (season 6)

Hello, there is a current ongoing discussion revolving around the style of crediting writers for the TV series Glee, over on the talk page. I thought you may be interested in voicing your opinion. Thank you and cheers, LLArrow (talk) 07:56, 15 January 2015 (UTC)

Cindy and Mindy

Hey! Please stop removing Monica and Melanie as S6 guest stars. They are present during the conference scene. Here is a still from the episode: http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/prettylittleliars/images/f/f3/6x01-07.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20150506203502. As you can see the two girls are both present. Pretty Little Liars

I can tell you haven't read what I wrote in my edit summaries. I'll start with, the A ending is WP:Trivia as has no significant meaning, it's in the form of what would see in a fansite or wikia and it seems to not even follow in the next episodes. I said to write in full sentences in the summary if it's really notable. Secondly, your statement of it being useful for readers is your personal opinion, WP:POV. You aren't writing for the general public. You are stating your own personal opinion. Thirdly, WP:TVPLOT states that summaries should have a word count of 200-500, some episodes pass that because of that unnecessary, trivial content. Unless you have something that actually deems this information notable and helpful by Wikipedia terms not your own opinion, it will be removed as it has no purpose, it's not notable and it seems useless. Callmemirela (Talk) 15:53, 11 July 2015 (UTC)

First, don't come onto my talk page and assume that I haven't read something just because I reverted your edits; it's incredibly rude and comes off as insulting whether you meant it to be or not. And second, WP:Trivia says the guidelines do not suggest removing the sections. It is obviously notable if 90% of episodes have an "A" ending and "A" is the central villain of the show, if you please. So I suggest instead of completely removing them and erasing a decent amount of information that people have gone to the effort of adding in and is a pain to recover at times, then add it onto the paragraphs as you suggested. Thanks. Brocicle (talk) 02:14, 12 July 2015 (UTC)
Again, some of those endings don't have any significant meanings for future episodes. Also, if you're suggesting addition of it in the paragraphs, you could also do it yourself. I would do it, but that would mean growing through every episode and determine if that ending actually did have a meaning to an episode in the future. Some endings from when I was watching PLL back then did not follow anything and it was useless. I'll try best to see what I can manage. Callmemirela (Talk) 16:56, 11 July 2015 (UTC)

Game Over, Charles

Hello! The episode "Game Over, Charles" has received negative reviews from fans. You can see on the page of Pretty Little Liars, almost every fan critic the show because most of the fanS doesn't like 'A' motives and sara as Red Coat and The Black Widow. the rating on imdb is 4.4!!! the lowest rating for episode of PLL ever!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by PureHero (talkcontribs) 12:14, 17 August 2015 (UTC)

Notby all fans. When you say 'negative reviews from fans' you are generalising all fans together. Some fans liked it, others didn't and that's what needs to be portrayed. Brocicle (talk) 00:49, 18 August 2015 (UTC)

AHS Hotel

Hi Brocicle, care to explain why you removed this statement with this edit? I'm not sure if you are aware, but WP:LEAD recognizes content to be added in lead section without source, which are alredy sourced in article body. Please do not remove info without discussing. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 04:53, 21 September 2015 (UTC)

I explained why I removed it so I don't understand why you felt the need to ask or why you always feel the need to police the article for even the smallest change. WP:CITELEAD also recognises that some information requires a citation, which I believe was needed, for that specific point of information especially in the first paragraph. Saying it draws influence from something should be cited otherwise it could just be false information. Thanks. Brocicle (talk) 18:46, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
And I specifically mentioned that that information is sourced in article body, and that's why in the lead it does not need another source. So your assumption is basically grasping straws. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 16:10, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
How am I grasping at straws when is specifically says that some things in the lead require citation? That's not an assumption, its a fact. Seeing as it's an important statement to put in the lead I feel based on reading WP:CITELEAD that it required a source. Don't get your panties in a twist just because someone has a different opinion to you so get off your high horse. Thanks. Brocicle (talk) 02:41, 22 September 2015 (UTC)

TV Ratings

Hi,

I am just letting you know about your Scream Queens edits. Please know that all shows need to be updated with final ratings. The rating you added was preliminary thus rendering it useless. I have removed your edits as part of that. Feel free to edit when final ratings have been released. Callmemirela 🍁 {Talk} 18:31, 9 December 2015 (UTC)

@Callmemirela: Thank you for letting me know, I very much appreciate the information. :) Brocicle (talk) 15:55, 10 December 2015 (UTC)

Episode counts

Hi, Brocicle. I thought I'd begin a discussion on this. Template:Infobox television (the infobox used on a series' main article) states "Value is incremented when new episodes air. See template documentation for more info" for the "num_episodes" parameter, whereas Template:Infobox television season (the infobox used on a series' separate season articles) states "Number of episodes in the season. This field should remain empty until the season has finished airing" for the "num_episodes" parameter. These have been dictated by community consensus when creating the template documentations. This is supported by MOS:TV, which you have linked to, which concerns the main episode counter, not the separate season pages. No consensus is required here for following what has been done on almost every television series page that exists. Have a Merry Christmas! Alex|The|Whovian 13:43, 24 December 2015 (UTC)

@AlexTheWhovian: I've asked for clarification on the MOS:TV talk page just in case. If someone confirms the information you've stated I'll request that a note be added in to avoid further issues for other editors in the future. Thank you and Happy Holidays! Brocicle (talk) 00:45, 25 December 2015 (UTC)

I was only trying to assist you. At the moment, because you haven't indented your post, it looks like it's part of AlexTheWhovian's post and my change was made to improve readability, per WP:REFACTOR. --AussieLegend () 14:30, 24 December 2015 (UTC)
Personally, I don't see the need for user talk pages to be 100% in formatting, spelling etc. If it bothers you then I apologise, but unless starting a new section, replying to something, or correcting your own personal mistakes I don't find it necessary to edit someones comment on their own talk page. Brocicle (talk) 01:36, 25 December 2015 (UTC)
It doesn't matter whether it's your own talk page (which is not actually "owned" by you) or an article talk page, page layouts should always be clear, per WP:TPYES. I really don't understand your opposition to another editor making an extremely minor change that makes the thread more readable by other editors. --AussieLegend () 14:44, 24 December 2015 (UTC)
If a user has requested to not make unnecessary edits to their talk page it's polite to respect their wishes whether you agree or not. A simple post alerting me to my mistake so I can correct it myself is much more appreciated that simply doing it. Brocicle (talk) 02:18, 25 December 2015 (UTC)
Most people appreciate other editors quietly fixing minor mistakes rather than unnecessarily drawing attention to the fact that they've screwed up. Speaking of that, there's a mistake with the archiving that you've setup on this page. You're welcome. --AussieLegend () 08:28, 25 December 2015 (UTC)
And other people appreciate being told politely what was wrong so they can fix it themselves. Sorry that not everyone wants someone else to fix their mistake/s. Brocicle (talk) 20:35, 25 December 2015 (UTC)
