Information icon Hello, I'm Maurice Oly. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, British Rail Class 455, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Hi. All your edits to British Rail Class 455 have been reverted to the fact that there is no article in Today's railways UK issue 246 on page 69 called “ SWR 455907 dragged to Newport by 37 Locomotive to be sent for scrap” so your edits are unsourced.

Please provide actual sources next time not ones you made up. Maurice Oly (talk) 11:26, 11 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. The source “Class 455 disposals gather pace” doesn’t include units “455704”, “455726” or “455918” which are also scrapped 455 units. So in total, it would be 54 units scrapped BritishRailWikiEditor (talk) 17:28, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Class 455 - 913

Hi, ordinarily RTT is not typically regarded as a reliable source (although its usage varies wildly between editors - I'm not sure if a formal discussion has ever taken place). I would, ordinarily, therefore, have reverted your edits this afternoon, but given 455913 being in the 'Stored' row is unsourced in itself, I'm happy to leave it. Happy editing! Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at British Rail Class 315, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. David Biddulph (talk) 20:18, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
