[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Cilla Black has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bmyspace\.com (links: http://www.myspace.com/cillablack/, http://www.myspace.com/cillablack/ (redirect from http://www.myspace.com/cillablack/)).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 01:43, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Ted Carfrae
[edit]I have nominated Ted Carfrae, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ted Carfrae. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

- I've just !voted Weak keep in the AfD, contingent on far, far, better references being forthcoming. The references I saw included an industry advert and an IP page (that may or may not have been MSN music). If you can fix the IP reference, and provide a good quantity more of good quality refs that establish notability then I'll gladly change my !vote to a full keep. If not, then I'm in two minds about changing it to a delete. Hope this is useful, ping me if you have questions or need help, and good luck! Cheers, This flag once was redpropagandadeeds 17:58, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
- Just seen you fix the IP ;-) Good work. Still needs more refs, though. Demonstrating that he was the producer for various superstars like Petula Clark, Englebert Humperdink, etc would be good, in my opinion. Cheers, This flag once was redpropagandadeeds 18:05, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 17:39, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
- Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Tommy Sandhu do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \byoutube\.com (links: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o93d5maaygu, http://www.youtube.com/index?ytsession=pQ-3di8mP94I9hpBsZHRjVO385JnTClYwUWu8y4426F1cvOfyR6AyLKvVg3clKf0szghKZiPMSixt00WSsLD7uexh0m0RxixUvKX1oZw89p1LB_eW5S1oGbBar7LnJsEzlc1XA6U-bgerO-gcw2OWnpEOgsY8iUTlkrdwkdc5ONgX2WFR800rIAyeNKboRnngvH765oeTgkvVYHKjqePhZg9APky1gvtKHzLQ4jCH7K4SZAM9152nwAbYQU1Fl_Q89yWNWrqDGcG51E85ImyN35sgxTz44Y9nXsOVlIsHWVrmYDJV2JLvUhGzT3MiVuhU5rBNay57ujQZVI_b_yLy0OwVxhfshexs--IIHOvMMmUkvgTut4zDgqBUC57y8rnJKQAkM6keOjA3RlZZT5HfLV5NlK4h4-o3fG6O1qLj7X5ZbCaNR2hDM7Ux3Wj07Z_ (redirect from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o93d5maaygu)). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. Video links are also strongly deprecated by our guidelines for external links, partly because they're useless to people with slow internet connections.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. User:Britboy1976/Ted Carfrae
[edit]Further to your request on my talk page User_talk:Chzz#TED_CARFRAE_ARTICLE_DELETED, the article has been restored.
It is in User:Britboy1976/Ted Carfrae.
Please feel free to work on improving it there, but note that it *must* meet notability requirements, etc, before being made live. As it has been deleted once, I would strongly recomment not making it live again - work on it, by all means try to add reliable sources, but then perhaps suggest it as an article, rather than making it yourself, using articles for creation.
As it says in the welcome message above, I strongly recommend that you "Edit existing articles, before you make your own." You could perhaps help out with peer reviews. You could browse the many projects, look at the newest articles, or maybe just something random. We have a list of requested articles, requests for feedback, and a huge backlog of tasks. Hopefully, this will give you some ideas.
Good luck with it. Chzz ► 05:48, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

Cilla Black
[edit]Hi Britboy1976. Thanks for the message explaining that information but I'd like to point out two things:
- I didn't "write articles" on Cilla Black or any of her releases. I barely contributed to her album or discography page and only did so after the Official Charts Company's (OCC) article announcing the album had reached the top 40, which leads me to
- The OCC wrote the article mentioning the apparent "re-release" before Wikipedia displayed the 2013 release as a reissue (which was my doing after reading said article). I don't know where they got that from but I'm pretty sure the Wikipedia pages concerned at the time displayed the 1983 and 2013 releases as being separate things. Ss112 16:53, 20 December 2015 (UTC)

March 2017
[edit]Hello, Britboy1976. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Her Greatest from Abbey Road, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Ss112 13:37, 5 March 2017 (UTC)

Vince Hill
[edit]Your article, Legacy: My Hits & Rarities (1965-1974), has been redirected for failing WP:NALBUMS. When you create album articles, you need to provide secondary sources that prove an album's notability and not just one link to the artist's own website. Being made by a notable artist does not grant automatic notability to every compilation or recording they have made. Only restore your content if you can provide reliable secondary sources talking about its release. If you cannot provide this and continue to restore your article, you will be reported for a continued conflict of interest. Wikipedia does not exist to serve as a promotional tool for your label's products. Thank you. Ss112 15:47, 4 June 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Vince-hill-legacy-my-hits-and-rarities-cd-500px.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:48, 7 June 2017 (UTC)
