Feedback on your article
[edit]Hello Brian 44, Thank you for writing your article in your sandbox! I have read the article and would like to give some feedback to improve your article to Wikipedia standards and customs. While your tutor will judge it content wise, I will look if it meets the quality standards we have on Wikipedia. I standard look for a series of subjects that need improvement or are okay.
- Intro sentence: minus comma, and we make the subject bold the first time the title is mentioned in the article.
- Links: In general there are sufficient, besides the line that starts with "Hemetsberger five central practices of sharing". Try to find a good link for each of the five practises.
- Headers: Headers are needed in an article, because they provide readers structure and understanding what a section is about. Usually we start with headers with the second section. Please add them!
- References: No space before a reference, it follows directly after the dot. I would also like a source for the first sentence, especially concerning web 2.0.
- Other: Concerning the points following on "Hemetsberger five central practices of sharing", don't you think it looks strange this way? You tried to make a bulleted list and you received from me a cheatsheet with instructions how to do that. You can also look on the project page to see how that can be done. If you are still working on the article, okay, but otherwise everything you added starting from "Sharing initiatives (examples)" and down is something which does not belong in an Wikipedia article in a raw form. This has to be implemented in the article.
- Ready to publish: because your article is about sharing economy, and the article Sharing economy already exists in Wikipedia, your article can't be published. In general I recommend students to add parts of their article to the existing article, but I can't now as all headers are missing.
I hope you can implement this feedback to your sandbox article before our next meeting. Thanks! Romaine (talk) 14:37, 28 November 2016 (UTC)
