[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Revolution 60 has been reverted.
Your edit here to Revolution 60 was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://vimeo.com/100760256) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 20:06, 24 November 2014 (UTC)
Images in the Revolution 60 article
[edit]Hi Branmacmuffin,
I’ve noticed that you marked the images you uploaded for use in the Rev 60 article as fair use, while other editors doubt that (see here or here).
Since you noted in the description of File:Revolution_60_-_Amelia's_hair.png that you “can gain explicit permission” if necessary, I was wondering whether you had already discussed that with the copyright holder(s). If you haven’t yet, I encourage you to do so: It’s probably better to err on the safe side and get permission in advance than wait for someone to mark the file for deletion due to an unclear copyright situation.
In case you haven’t yet discovered it yourself, see commons:Commons:Email_templates for a template e-mail. Also, feel free to notify me if I can be of help! (Note, however, that I might not be able to look at Wikipedia too often during the Holidays. After December 20th, it’s probably best if you send me an e-mail; otherwise I might not see your message for a while.)
Cheers, NacowY (talk) 02:56, 18 December 2014 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Revolution 60 - Amelia's hair.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Revolution 60 - Amelia's hair.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 21:24, 18 December 2014 (UTC)

Regarding Revolution 60 images
[edit]Hello, I noticed you've uploaded images to accompany Revolution 60, i.e., File:Revolution 60 Amelia - Maya render.png. These are tagged as free images but no proof that they are allowed to be licensed as such is provided. If they've posted such about the images in a verifiable way (like their official site), that should be appended in the file info. If they haven't and you only have verbal permission or the equivalent you need to get them to expressly release the images under the license and forward that correspondence on to OTRS. (And at that point, you shouldn't be using a non-free description template for a free image.) Cheers, Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs(talk) 19:36, 22 December 2014 (UTC)
Hi @David Fuchs: I have a screenshot of the email sent to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org by the owner, with the full list of images (including the ones that have been removed from the article due to making the article overlong). However, I'll inform the contact at the software house that a ticket needs to be raised with OTRS. Once they've raised that, I'll update the template. I did the quick change to the existing template based to reflect the updated license and didn't think to change the entire template. Thanks for the heads-up.
