Epekwitk should very much stand at a forefront in the name of this island

[edit]Hello, I'm Lol1VNIO. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Prince Edward Island—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. ~~ lol1VNIO (I made a mistake? talk to me) 16:23, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Prince Edward Island, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Please also read WP:MINOR. And don't change a reference to incorrectly claim that it supports a term that it does not mention Meters (talk) 09:05, 29 August 2022 (UTC)
Try the Teahouse for help with language template
[edit]Hi Brandon, one way to add "Epekwitk" would be in the first line of the article, not in the infobox, in the same way as "Ile-du-Prince-Eduoard" is there. There is a template to identify non-English languages. That line currently reads: "Prince Edward Island (PEI; French: Île-du-Prince-Édouard) is" If you check the code, the template for French is two curly braces, followed by "Lang-fr" and then the French name. I don't know if there is an equivalent to "Lang-fr" for Mi'kmaq that you could use. You could try asking at the Teahouse to see if anyone there knows if there is a Mi'kmaq code. Please don't assume that nicknames of a city should be applied to a ship named for the city. Unless you actually have sources to show that this ship is nicknamed "Stampede City" or "Stampede" or "Cow Town" do not add these. Meters (talk) 09:37, 29 August 2022 (UTC)
