[edit]

Hi there, I notice you've removed year-only date links on a number of pages, ostensibly due to WP:DATE. However, it's worth noting that WP:DATE#Partial dates clearly states, There is less agreement about links to years. Some editors believe that links to years are generally useful to establish context for the article. Others believe that links to years are rarely useful to the reader and reduce the readability of the text. Therefore, as there is no consensus on this matter (the talk page makes that quite clear) I'd suggest you might like to err on the side of caution in delinking quite so many dates on pages where there has been no disagreement over the issue in the past, given the absence of consensus over the Manual of Style. Thanks, DWaterson 19:49, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, it takes a while to get used to Wikipedia's style guidelines :-) DWaterson 20:47, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Stubs

[edit]

Hi, thank you for marking the article you created (Danger at Ocean Deep) as a stub. It is common to place the stub template at the bottom of the page (WP:WSS). Also it is best to avoid {{stub}} and use a specific stub if one is availble. The easiest wasy to do this is to use the list of stub types. Thank you. Ksbrowntalk 13:15, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also in case you are creating a few Thunderbirds articles the stub for childrens television programs is {{child-tv-prog-stub}}. Also to marka section as a stb you can use {{sectstub}}. Ksbrowntalk 13:20, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there - I've just noticed your considerable contributions to Gerry Anderson related pages, and I was wondering if you were interested in joining the ITC WikiProject? It desperately needs active members, and I think you would be an excellent addition to the team. Howie 23:47, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Bobfos! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot notifying you on behalf of the the unreferenced biographies team that 1 of the articles that you created is currently tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 3 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
