December 2023
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself, at User:BobBeathard/sandbox. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Notable people who have edited Wikipedia). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Minor edit
[edit]Hi BobBeathard! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Paul Mescal that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. KyleJoantalk 02:14, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
New message to BobBeathard
[edit]Hello Dearest editor,
Regarding the creation of Steve Carell's filmography. I have redirected it back to the article namespace with reasons of not being ready for a stand alone entry. Like your edit summary analysed; he may be a prolific actor but we consider things before creating a filmography list for an actor.
I help, I will say you should first discuss that on the article's talk page. Regards and thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia! Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 09:34, 4 April 2024 (UTC)
- If Ryan Gosling is ready, Steve Carell is certainly ready. BobBeathard (talk) 09:41, 4 April 2024 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for October 3
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Penguin (TV series), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Craig Walker. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
