Help me!

[edit]

Please help me with... Hi! I am new to wikipedia editing and wanted to update the article about Catherina Becker. My changes were undone, because apparently my referencing was not appropriate. Can someone explain to me what I did wrongly, please?

Do I have to do more in-line referencing because it is an article about a living person? And were my sources verifyable and reliable, or do I have to look for others?

Thanks already in advance! Blufisch1234 (talk) 08:51, 6 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I looked at the edits you made. The main problem I see is that you were introducing external links into the body of the text: WP:EL discusses this, it's not something that we generally do in articles. However, I can see that the information you were adding is supported by that press release, so I will make a few changes now to update the article accordingly.
