- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

I have removed the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
tag from George Stanford, which you proposed for deletion, because its deletion has previously been contested or viewed as controversial. Proposed deletion is not for controversial deletions. For this reason, proposed deletion is disallowed on articles that have previously been de-prodded, even by the page's creator, or which have previously been listed on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. If you still think the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{proposed deletion}}
template back to the article, but feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! ThadeusOfNazereth(he/him)Talk to Me! 18:09, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Tiktokrizzparty.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Tiktokrizzparty.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:09, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
- Non-free files such as this screenshot cannot be used in drafts per criterion #9 of Wikipedia's non-free content use policy as explained here. This is why a bot removed the file from Draft:Tiktok rizz party. Non-free content also needs to be used in at least one article per criterion #7 of Wikipedia's non-free content use policy; non-free files not being used in any articles are eligible for deletion per speedy deletion criterion #5. Probably the best thing for you to do here, is to simply let the file be deleted in about seven days, and then request that it be WP:REFUNDed after the draft you're working on has been approved as an article. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:15, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
FYI about warnings
[edit]Hey there! You should really thank Joyous! for the actual blocking of that vandal, all I did was revert their edits. Speaking of which, I wanted to make you aware quickly of Template:Uw-vandalism1 and its series. In order for an account to be blocked (which, to be clear, is not the goal, but a situation may come down to it), they must be sufficiently warned (see WP:BEFOREBLOCK). As such, if you ever revert an edit because of vandalism, be sure to substitute in this template (or whichever one is most appropriate, see WP:WARN2 for the full list) to their talk page! You could also take a look at WP:RVAN for more information on this. Leafy46 (talk) 04:27, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
