You must not copy material into Wikipedia unless a proper legal copyright release has been made - see Wikipedia:Copy-paste. Even the short introductory paragraph remaining after you removed the main section was a copy from www.harpercollins.com. Also, publishers' blurbs have a promotional tone quite unsuitable for an encyclopedia article, which requires a neutral point of view. Wikipedia is not a notice-board, and is not for advertising or promotion of any kind, and an encyclopedia article about a book should not look like an advertisement or a publisher's blurb. I do not know how to make the message clearer than I did above:

You must not copy material into Wikipedia.

I blocked you for three days for copyright violations, and two days after your block expired you did it again. See the search results for two phrases from your Plot Summary: [1], [2]. I do not know or care who is the original author of this or owns the copyright, but even though it is all over the internet it may not be copied into Wikipedia unless a formal release has been made by the copyright owner. See Wikipedia:Copy-paste for why minor modifications of words do not prevent a violation of copyright.

I have removed the copied Plot Summary section, and the peacock term "gripping", and with a slight rewording the remaining article is neutral enough to escape speedy deletion as an advertisement. JohnCD (talk) 19:35, 28 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
