Borders
[edit]Hi, You said on the anarchism talk page that you can get a load of anarchist mags in your local Borders. Which one? Donnacha 18:55, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
- opps, sorry for the delay. I've added some details to your wikipedia page. As you can see, i do not look here that often. BlackFlag 11:41, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly, as you are doing in Anarchism. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. Intangible 11:26, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- I have asked for reasons why my changes are being undone. Given a decent explanation I am more willing to leave changes in. As it stands, I have added sourced information which has been removed for no reason. I have also removed irrelevant additions but I am more than willing to leave them in if given a good reason to do so (which has not been provided). BlackFlag 08:54, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
woo!
[edit]oh hiya! you back or just browsing around? nice to see you again :) -- infinity0 17:58, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
Anarchism
[edit]Please stop pushing your POV regarding Murray Rothbard as an individualist anarchist. Skomorokh has also told you that the Avrich source is authoritative. I don't want to get into an edit war with you, but I will not let your POV pushing go unchecked. As I said: take it up in the Talk section of the Anarchism page AND now also in the Individualist Anarchist section. --Knight of BAAWA 12:59, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- Rubbish. Avrich is not authoritative (it is a footnote in a long book which otherwise fails to mention "anarcho-capitalism). There are numerous sources (Clark, Ward, Marshall, and so on) which disputes the claim -- including, I may add, Rothbard himself. To act like there is no dispute is POV. We are discussing this on the talk page, so you constantly ignoring attempts at consensus is wrong. So I have taken it up on the talk section. BlackFlag 14:10, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- Your POV is not authoritative, and the discussion on the talk page wasn't specifically about what you're doing, but rather combining individualist with anarcho-capitalism. So you are ignoring consensus and not being entirely honest with your claim. I really do not want to report you for POV pushing, but I will do so if need be. I want to resolve this nicely. --Knight of BAAWA 13:21, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- Your POV is not authoritative, so please stop pushing it. I am trying to resolve this on the talk page so please stop imposing a change which reflects a consensus which does not exist. So, please, I am trying to resolve this nicely -- it is you you are ignoring the talk attempts to reach a compromise. BlackFlag 14:26, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- The consensus of 3 pages is what I'm putting back! You are the one playing a game and ignoring consensus. Look: I want to have this resolved nicely. Please do us both a favor and just cool down. I'll be cool, too. We can work this out. --Knight of BAAWA 13:32, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- I have proved the reference and the quote from Rothbard. And, please, I am well aware of the literature and there is NO consensus on Rothbard being an "individualist anarchist." To state otherwise is simply not factual. I am happy to see this resolved nicely, and have proved sources which dispute the claim that Rothbard was. These references (mostly anarchist, but not all) are simply being ignored. And I would not make changes unless I had the evidence to back it up. BlackFlag 14:39, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- And I have continued the quote, showing that what Rothbard wrote isn't entirely what you made it to be (thus bordering on quote-mining). Now then, no one is saying that there is no consensus about Rothbard not being an individualist anarchist. To state that it is being stated is a strawman--and you don't want to use a fallacious argument. What is being stated is that the wiki pages have a consensus, and you do need a good reason to have all 3 pages mentioned changed. No one is ignoring evidence, but you ARE pushing a POV. Now if you want, it can just be said that Rothbard is just of the individualist line. Would that make you happy? --Knight of BAAWA 14:03, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
Anarchism Task Force
[edit]Hey BlackFlag, I don't know how consistently you'll be around these parts, but a few of us have set up the Anarchism Task Force, and would love to have you contribute. Cheers! Murderbike (talk) 19:11, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Anarchism and anarcho-capitalism
[edit]An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Anarchism and anarcho-capitalism. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Anarchism and anarcho-capitalism (2nd nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:05, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
