Dear Bkonrad, could you please not revert my edits before consultation or research. Thank you.--Medical2017 (talk uhh) 11:00, 5 November 2015 (UTC)

- Sorry about my BT contribution. I mean to add Burkitt's lymphoma to BL, not BT. I do comply with the guidelines. Disambiguation pages include many possible meanings, and the ones I added are true. I provided sources for that when requested.--Medical2017 (talk) 14:35, 16 November 2015 (UTC)

- (talk page watcher) I've already explained at User talk:88.189.180.75 that the meaning of the name is not appropriate content for a dab page, but that if the editor has reliable sources about themeaning of the name they could usefully add these to [{Adel (name)]]. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Ruined My Hart additions
Who died and made you god of what is on Wiki?? The content I added was to simplify the search for the meaning of Hart. Guidelines are exactly that, a guide not the 10 commandments!
Hart is NOT just a deer!! It is also a common second name dating back to the medieval times.
However....It is the Dutch spelling of Heart first and foremost!!!!!!!!!!!
Not everyone knows to search Dutch Hart in order to find this information. I made this change to rectify this. I also added interesting information about the word that would be informative for the general knowledge factor - something I feel strongly that Wiki represents.
Go back and at least add in a link to 'Dutch Hart'! If you don't know what that is... wiki search it.
Thank you for ruining my daughters birthday when HART and her friends Googled her name your new edits came up!!
Have a nice day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.201.253.100 (talk) 17:01, 3 December 2015 (UTC)

Perth Australia
Does not exist, and considering the amount of bad blood over the Perth name being given to the google hit, rather than an encyclopediac status of being one of a number of places, I am not sure that delegating it back to the country helps anyone. Perth Australia (which does not exist as there are more than one) is encouraged by such a placement in the disambig page. JarrahTree 14:35, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
- Not sure what you're saying. For most everyone in the world, Perth, Australia, is the large city in western Australia. I don't see how using inconsistent section headings helps. older ≠ wiser 14:43, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
- not too sure who you are speaking for, geographically challenged north americans, a lot of people around the world actually do you what you folks do, qualify by state - Springfield, Mass., NY, NY., and actually many people know it as Perth, Western Australia - Perth Australia is a misnomer only reinforced by the absurdity of WP primacy (guided by google hits) allowing it to be perth alone. I havent reverted your edit, simply made sure that the states are qualified. I am sure american-centrism over Australian places is exemplified by the ultimate absurdity of your removing the link for western australia - there is no other link to the state specifically on the disambig page, simply reinforcing the misinterpreted perth australia. Have a nice day. JarrahTree 14:52, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
- Investing theory. Do you have any actual evidence to back up the claims. I'd be willing to bet dollars to doughnuts that if you asked an English speaker from anywhere other than Australia where Perth is, the response would likely be Australia. Only in relatively rare contexts would it be necessary to qualify with the state name. older ≠ wiser 15:09, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
having travelled in the states, uk, midle east and eastern europe some years ago, (where I would talk with people about where I came from) I'd be quite sure of the state qualification most of the time - if we ever get to a common wiki event in this lifetime, I'll remember to buy some doughnuts for a chat...or drink JarrahTree 15:32, 15 December 2015 (UTC)

- Dont get me wrong, admins in unrelated places on the planet have a thankless task and a lot of idiots playing with your time, you may well consider me that, fair enough, (it is a quite unremitting task coping with misinterpretations of things here in Australia from people outside), and you obviously have a hard task with dealing with the misuse of disambig at the best of time, your edits show that.. I have only ventured into the misuse of perth western australias identity every now and then, as the bad blood over the primacy of perth over others issue still lingers, so as we say down here I'll pull my head in for the moment. cheers JarrahTree 15:06, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
- Your edit https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Perth,_Australia&curid=315240&diff=695392048&oldid=695363099 shows bad faith and inability to listen to other arguments. Have a nice christmas. JarrahTree 00:17, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
Perth Australia Dab
Hi. First, what a small world. I actually enjoyed The Wanderer. I picked it up in error, not being familiar with Wilder's works. I didn't look at the author and thought I was getting Liebers' book of the same title (even though they have zero in common). I still have the remainder of the Hylor and Torin series on my "need to finish" lists. Now about the dab page. Could you please take a look at the discussion that ensued on User talk:Onel5969#strongly disagree? I disagree with your change, but can also understand it, so it's not worth getting into a tizzy about, but I'd appreciate your thoughts on the reasoning behind my self-revert. Take it easy. Onel5969 TT me 00:32, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
- Glad to hear you enjoyed Cherry's work. Re Perth, for the vast majority of the English-speaking world the only Perth in Australia that anyone is likely to expect to find at Perth, Australia, is the large city in western Australia. There are many other Perths around the world and yet they are not at Perth. The city is the WP:Primary topic for the term. No one is saying that the article on the city should be titled "Perth, Australia", but we can expect that is the most likely target for those people who search using that phrase. older ≠ wiser 00:45, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
- Maybe well reasoned, but as I strongly am against primary topic on wikipedia for a range of reasons, I think that primary topic and the mix of the use of perth australia is not of any real help. To have had the disambig as a way of showing there are more than one, could have helped the problem, to simply pander to primary topic is unencyclopediac in my view. JarrahTree 00:51, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
- To change established guidance on primary topic, discuss at WT:Disambiguation. older ≠ wiser 00:54, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
- I appreciate the lead on that, but the edit wars and bad blood over getting it to Perth over a well disambiguated perth, here and perth, there is years later still keeping a very strange herd of watchers , one would have to be a suicidal mad duck sock to even venture into that region, even with armory and monty python humour machines attached. I would rather duck, (sic) for cover and cleanup text with perth and australia side by side, thanks anyways JarrahTree 01:00, 16 December 2015 (UTC)

Forgot to paste in Peddur page, I pasted at Siripuram at this edit. Thanks for correcting.--Vin09 (talk) 10:51, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
Hi. I'm afraid you've misunderstood. I don't want the page to be deleted, simplt to be moved to "Bismarck (disambiguation)", but because the later has been edited, Icannot do it myself, an admin has to, and how they do that is by deleting the one page and then moving the other. So the result I'm looking for is for Bismarck to be a redirect to Otto von Bismarck, and the current page called "Bismarck" becomes Bismarck (disambiguation). To make this 3-way exchange, one of the pages has to be deleted, so that the other two can be moved. The admin who makes the move can do it any way they wish, but, not being an admin, I can't do it. BMK (talk) 01:07, 28 December 2015 (UTC)
- If this were uncontroversial, you'd want to request deletion of the redirect. However, I don't think it is uncontroversial. If you want to attempt this you should propose moving the disambiguation page. older ≠ wiser 01:18, 28 December 2015 (UTC)
