Attendence of the kc stadium
[edit]on the Hull City A.F.C. page the attendence says it is 25,504 but on kc stadium page it says it is 25,404. both of the attendnce names have been sourced.
'Corrected' it - I've used the figure from the stadium's official site, which I assume is more reliable than the unofficial footy grounds guide one. Beve 21:59, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
Hello, when you want to link to the article about a defender, please do not link to defender, as that is a disambiguation page (which nothing should be linked to). Instead link to the one of the options found on that page such as defender (football) by writing out [[defender (football)|defender]] Regards, -- Jeff3000 22:28, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

Hull City
[edit]On the Hull City article, I don't really see the need for so much info on this season. There should only be a sentence or two. It should include about as much for the season 1956-57 as 2006-07 for example. Mattythewhite 10:32, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for addressing this with me Beve. The recent seasons of Hull City has included a lot of notable events; the recent promotions, million pound signing etc., but I don't think the latest season should have its own sub-section in the history section! Thats serious recentism. I'm sorry if I've deleted any important pieces of info in that section, I've been as bit hasty with the history section so far. Again, thanks for informing me of your feeling on this. Thanks, Mattythewhite 13:40, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- Okay. And I was wandering on what you felt about the sub-headings in the history section - they're a little POV and most top club articles don't have them. Mattythewhite 15:00, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- I think I'll remove the sub-headings sometime soon, if thats okay. And do you know when was this badge was worn by Hull City? Thanks, Mattythewhite 16:21, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- Do you know of any resources of past Hull City badges? The one I'm using now isn't really very descriptive.. Mattythewhite 16:59, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but I hardly see what the chairman thinks is relevant to the history of the club. Also, theres a whole paragraph for one season in the article, and there is a paragraph for around three decades. Thats recentism. And I hardly believe it should be excused because its not an official policy. Mattythewhite 12:25, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
- Yup. Okay then. But I am annoyed by your accusation of "The most frustrating thing about this is that I thought we'd reached a consensus. Now I see that you had no intention of compromising, you were simply waiting a couple of weeks before you went ahead and deleted it anyway." I had no sort of master plan to remove the content. And if I revert anything on the article I do it because I think its beneficial to the article. And thank you for adressing your feelings with me. Mattythewhite 23:22, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
- Of course - Wikipedia is about writing stuff, not holding grudges against people! I apologise especially for my removal of the Sheff Utd content. That probably highlights my lack of knowledge of the club! I'll help out with getting some references. Thanks, Mattythewhite 09:38, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
- Hey. With football articles, I generally go by the "FA standard". Generally, they give completed lists of managers, and often use Players of the Years. But these aren't in the MoS for clubs. But I would personally have a complete list of managers, as the alternative is to have "Notable managers", which is a bit dodgy really, by defining "notable". And the Player of the Years are used as an alternative to having "Notable former players" sections, which are opinionated, and rubbish really. But still, it is all a thing which hasn't been set properly, seeing as articles get to FA without going by the MoS (although it is only a proposal). Perhaps a thing to be brought up at WP:FOOTY? And one idea I was thinking of bringing up with you about the Hull City A.F.C. seasons page. I would recommend for the page to be like this, and create seperate articles for each of the seasons in the current article. However, it takes a lot of work. Like? Oh, and nice work with the Rivalries section. You got them to do all that single handedly? Top stuff. Mattythewhite 20:40, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
- The managers list does clutter it up a little bit.. but I wouldn't recommend moving it to the History article personally - its kind of a premier feature. And with Player of the Year - I didn't know there were more that what is currently mentioned. I took it from here I think, so we'll need a source with them all. And with the seasons articles, the info from them would be able to go into seperate articles for each season. And anyway, I'll probably be putting Hull up on Peer Review sometime soon. When I started working on the article, my original intention was to get it to FA, but decided to just go for GA. But perhaps that little bronze star is a possibilty? KC Stadium
[edit]Hello there, I thought you might like to look over the article on the KC Stadium. Keith D and I have been working over the last month or so trying to get it up to Good Article status. We've been documenting our progress on the article's talk page and also on a separate comments page. We think we're almost there, but would certainly appreciate other opinions. Please feel free to leave feedback. Cheers. Doonhamer | Banter 20:49, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for picking up my gaffe on the article as I had copied the basics of the infobox fron the Denny Landzaat article and forgot to change a couple of bits. I wouldn't have thought to do it so cheers for fixing it. Keresaspa 15:40, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
Temple of the Dog
[edit]Well, thanks. I'm still working on it, a couple of days work I guess, and I'd like to nominate it for GA status. If you'll think you could help me in anything, feel free to say. Gocsa 17:22, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
