Communication
Hi BW,
There have been times when I wish we could communicate off the grid so to speak; i.e. via email or facebook inbox. I am on facebook as Don Sands. Also, I have posted my email address on my user page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:DonaldRichardSands
Some recent messages have caught my attention. I have some thoughts. DonaldRichardSands (talk) 18:33, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
- The "Email this User" feature is unlocked. Feel free to email me. :) bW 01:45, 30 May 2011 (UTC)

, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
The complete report of this case is at WP:AN3#User:BelloWello reported by User:Lionelt (Result: 1 week). EdJohnston (talk) 05:33, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
- Hi BelloWello, this (from EdJohnston) in the AN/I is the part I was trying to explain on the article's talk page: "The BLP exemption from 3RR is very narrowly worded and in my judgment this is not covered by that exemption."
- Mistakes and not understanding the policies happen. I'm hoping when you return, you can take this to heart and we can actively, properly address any issues that still remain with the article in question. A few tips that my former mentor (and some of the experienced editors who's talk pages I stalk) gave me: "before assuming policy covers some action, review one's intent first. If taking such action supports one's own agenda, it's not a good idea to hide such actions behind policy. And if one is not sure of policy, find an experienced editor to ask first, before jumping in and making a mistake". It's served me well - even with me jumping in and out of vandal fighting and working to end edit wars. I hope those tips serve you equally as well. If you have any questions, let me know. While you are blocked, you can still edit this page. I'll watchlist it, and respond to any policy or guideline questions you may have - though I would suggest not discussing the article in question until after your block has expired (and then, do so on the article's talk page). I'm not sure why you didn't just listen to Kuru's advice and just self revert. Plenty of time to make changes later if warranted. You don't need to be the Yang to Fountainviewkid's Yin and you would both be better served by being less confrontational. Mojoworker (talk) 07:26, 31 May 2011 (UTC)
