Treason Act 1554
[edit]Since More died in 1535, the act of 1554 seemed unlikely to be relevant to him, or to have been mentioned in the film. Perhaps you meant another act? Richard75 (talk) 20:46, 5 March 2014 (UTC)
- Yes, sorry for the conflation. Bearian (talk) 21:47, 5 March 2014 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for March 8
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jinx Falkenburg, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page A&E (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

That the non-notable book happens to be about something potentially "controversial" does not make the book itself "controversial". -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 20:11, 17 March 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for your message Bearian, but I have no recollection of this. A long day and possibly a touch of senility setting in. Could you set my mind at rest and give me a clue as to what I did and when. Can't see anything in page history that looks like me. Ready to apologise now if it was stupid or a bad call. I am not known as a pop picker on Wiki so quite suprised if I did review, but anything possible! (Katy Perry...who he?) Libby norman (talk) 20:04, 19 March 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Jepoy Almario may have broken the syntax by modifying 3 "[]"s and 1 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

In January you PRODded this (actually, you PROD2-ed it, but the PRODder was an IP with no other edits), and it was deleted. Undeletion has been requested at WP:REFUND, so per WP:DEL#Proposed deletion I have restored it, and now notify you in case you wish to consider AfD. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 12:20, 23 March 2014 (UTC)

[edit]C1776MTalk has given you a glass of orange juice! OJ promotes WikiLove and hopefully this glass has made your day better. Spread the WikiLove by giving someone else a glass of orange juice, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past, a good friend, or just someone who looks thirsty. Happy drinking!
Thanks for doing the thankless job of an Admin.

Hi Bearian there was a request at WP:RFPP to add back the indef semi on Fred Phelps (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) I was intending to add it back until I saw that you'd removed it because it's no longer a BLP. I've semi'd the page for a couple days due to current vandalism and abuse, would you consider adding back the indef semi or at least a semi for a year or two to see if it's calmed down by then? Regards, Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 08:43, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
- Callanec, I don't think it is required any more; a few days are plenty in this case. Feel free to extend it a few days or weeks w/o further notice. Indef semi-protection should be used by admins very rarely on non-BLP articles:
Administrators may apply indefinite semi-protection to pages that are subject to heavy and persistent vandalism or violations of content policy (such as biographies of living persons, neutral point of view). Semi-protection should not be used as a preemptive measure against vandalism that has not yet occurred, nor should it be used to privilege registered users over unregistered users in (valid) content disputes. (emphasis added)
Bearian (talk) 16:44, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
- The page is subject to heavy and persistent vandalism, as evidenced by the amount of vandalism which started on the page almost straight after you removed the indef semi. If it starts up again after the two days I'm thinking it's worth going straight to a month or two of semi-protection. Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 06:04, 26 March 2014 (UTC)

Help on an article or two
[edit]Hey, I see you Be of the legal persuasion. I have been looking for help with an article that concerns business law regarding my particular niche, Burger King. They regard some issues with Implied Covenant of Good Faith and Fair Dealing in regards to three related cases of franchise relations. Since I'm not a lawyer, I have no idea how to proceed.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
What little I have is here.
