High Commissions and Embassies

[edit]

Good work adding the infobox to those articles. However, to me it indicates that the infobox needs work. For example it only has a field for ambassador but not for HC or consul or other titles. It forces an address when one mission may have one that one adress (e.g. Cnd HC in UK in Macdonlad House AND Canada House, put other non-London locals (Edinburgh, Belfast, etc.) I would argue that our naming conventions are faulty, and I think you might agree. --Kevlar (talkcontribs) 22:50, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, this file is uploaded at Commons and states you as author. For some reason though, it has an "OTRS-pending" template: would you be able to clear this matter? Thanks, Ciell (talk) 04:26, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Washington, D.C. served as the Canadian embassy for more than 60 years, hence the category. When the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, it was known as the Canadian Chancery. APK straight up now tell me 19:18, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
