Martin Peters

[edit]

Hello! Just informing if you can help, that Martin Peters has probably at least 1,000 official appearances if his numbers for Gorleston can be found. I updated his numbers for England U23 & England Youth, and at the moment without matches for Gorleston has 988 appearances. Kind regards, Lorry Gundersen (talk) 02:22, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Émerson Leão

[edit]

Hello! Just informing if you can help, that Émerson Leão has probably at least 1,000 official appearances if his numbers for São José, Comercial and more for Sport (oGol has only 1 match) can be found. CBF recognizes 105 matches instead of 81, e.g. see here a related publication, 105 seems is also the total Brazilian clubs recognize for his numbers for Brazil (he most likely has matches for Brazil under-X teams in those 105 - this can be clearly seen, for instance, here, where one can undertand 82 for the senior team and 105 in total for all), so the total from 917 oGol (direct link here) has goes up to 942, but he most likely has 179 for Gremio instead of 180, based on his Gremiopedia profile, which I trust more, even though a pedia, so let's say 941, then, from his player profile from Verdazzo, we have 11 more matches for Palmeiras (I have a total of 530 after removing matches that had amistoso tag and those with name of tournament, but that were friendly tournaments, and other removed for other reason(s), e.g. like Torneio Inicio, which may have not been unofficial, but matches had 20 to 30 minutes duration, et c.), hence 952 total, then maybe plus 4 (haven't checked if these extra 4 matches were friendly ones) for Corinthians (ref here) we go up to total 956, otherwise 952. In any way, there may be 48 matches for São José, Comercial and Sport do Recife, taken into account how many years/seasons he played. Also, is it only 92 for Vasco, there may be more, needs checking. I don't know any site for statistics per player for this club, perhaps you do? From the site of the club, I could only find this. Neville Southall

[edit]

Hello! Just informing if you can help, that Neville Southall has definitely made at least 1,000 official appearances, if numbers prior to Bury are found. P.S. I know I have addressed this before, but it's a repetition in case new data came to light. Kind regards, Lorry Gundersen (talk) 02:22, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I am looking for a source for 59 matches (25 goals) for Al-Gharafa; I have him on the list with 53 matches (22 goals) from SoccerWay, but I see he has 59 (25 goals) in his WP bio-article career's section. Perhaps you have/know a reliable source for a total of 59 matches? Kind regards, Lorry Gundersen (talk) 13:53, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I know he has 55 on FDB and I will add it soon: by the way, in case you didn't notice, I have moved the list to my sandbox' talk and I update it there because I got fed up with Kesha and admins' ignorance; first they moved the reserves and war-time matches three years earlier, even though RSSSF has these matches as official because war-time matches were official ones when they were played, but I managed without them, as described in the intro, meaning made so to be fair to the rest without them, even though having Barcelona B, Real Madrid C teams, et c. isn't that fair, then they removed FDB and some days ago oGol, per WP:WPFLINKSNO, which collapses the whole article since it's one of the main DBs to the majority of players who have oGol as a source, and the article is going to a direction I don't support at all; as you can see, they already have changed it now to 48 players instead of 56, but, since I have moved it to sandbox and to whoever wishes to find true statistics regardless of name, fame and profit, I will of course soon re-add FDB. And it is ridiculous because FDB, oGol and its mirror sites are not user-generated at all like WP is; yes, one can add stats, but they pass from a reviewer who checks the validity of the source provided with the stat; if there is no source or not good enough source, it doesn't get published. Hello! Maybe it was 30 matches for Palmeiras, but 31 as a total is not only coming from oGol, but also from Globo's and Juventude's official website sources, and I must say it's obvious both the latter have drawn their stats from oGol, nonetheless 31 as a total is well-sourced. Kind regards, Lorry Gundersen (talk) 12:17, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! First, thanks for your support, it means a lot to me. Secondly, I have changed it for Palmeiras with a note that explains why it's 30 and not 31. Finally, on another topic, do you have any source(s) for matches for Brazil U20? I don't know if he played in any match as in RSSSF Brasil, direct link here, he doesn't appear to be in any of the selections. Could be that Juventude took it from WP and there is a confusion with some other player. P.S. In addition, there isn't a 11v11 profile for this player, or at least I couldn't find one, as 11v11 is always complete for national teams' numbers, wonder why there isn't one, it's weird, especially because he also passed once from England (8 matches for West Ham United). Kind regards, Lorry Gundersen (talk) 07:01, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Just a note so you can realize how wrong the direction the article and football editors in WP have taken is; one of the 7 players they have removed (7 and not 8 because I hadn't added Nenê then, when they took over), which I can easily tell, is František Plánička, whom Bleacher Report not only has with 969 matches for Slavia Prague in total, but with 989 only the league matches for the club (see direct link here), and remember I have a note about 1,100+ matches in total for Slavia Prague, i.e. he could even have 1,300+ matches in total in the list, with the appropriate sources.
