Your Bad Girls character articles
[edit]Hello. When writing about fictional characters, it's generally a good idea to keep the info in one article, e.g., a "List of characters" subsection in the article relating to the work, or a separate "List of characters" article if the list becomes too long. It's preferable to create separate articles for characters only after there's enough info for a full encyclopedic treatment of the character. See WP:FICT for more guidelines on writing about fiction in Wikipedia. Regards. --Muchness 15:00, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
Character articles
[edit]Hello - I see that you are still creating minor character articles for Bad Girls despite the note left by the editor above. I do recommend that you read WP:FICT before creating anything more, as in their current state the articles are not encyclopedic and are likely to be deleted. ELIMINATORJR TALK 15:47, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Bad Girls (TV series). Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.
Problem is i was initially making proper contributions to wikipedia. I was making bad girls character pages - HOW IS THAT NOT CONTRIBUTION? just because they are fictional? Well maybe all the character on Eastenders, footballers wives, waterloo road should be reverted then!
- Yes, probably some of them should. However, there are guidelines as to whether characters have their own articles or not, and those guidelines are at the page WP:FICT, which you were asked twice to read above. ELIMINATORJR TALK 16:29, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Shaz Wylie
[edit]Shaz Wylie, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Shaz Wylie satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Shaz Wylie and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Shaz Wylie during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. (→O - RLY?) 21:27, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
Little context in Dr. Malcolm Nicholson
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Dr. Malcolm Nicholson, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Dr. Malcolm Nicholson is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Dr. Malcolm Nicholson, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. AfD nomination of Craig Dixon (EastEnders)
[edit]I have nominated Craig Dixon (EastEnders), an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Craig Dixon (EastEnders). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Magioladitis (talk) 11:27, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
The article Josh Mitchell (Bad Girls) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- A search for reliable, secondary sources reveals an insufficient amount of significant coverage. This article fails Wikipedia's notability guidelines for fictional characters.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Neelix (talk) 15:52, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
